"Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night."

"This was genuinely the best stay I have ever had. The room and facilities were great, the food was utterly amazing, and the staff were so welcoming and caring. "Our jaes dropped when we walked into this place. The staff were all so helpful and wonderful. We were treated like royalty. My experience here has been so wonderful it makes me sad I didnt plan for more days here. If I ever get the opportunity to come back to japan this is my first stop and possibly my only stop. There was a shuttle service to main streets. Laundry service just 2 minute walk away. Complementary beer and water stocked daily in your room refrigerator. Onsen on site. A spa. Beautiful rock garden and going pond in the center of the building you can view from any room. They have dinner and breakfast for an extra fee. We chose to do that for our first day. We had our own private dinning room and for dinner had several courses brought to us. It was all beautiful. I will say, if you are not accustomed to Japanese food then this would not be the dinner and breakfast for you. However if that is the case the front desk has a map of all the MANY eating establishments around town and there is something for everyone here. On our second night we enjoyed a steak and seared chicken dinner just minutes away at one of the local spots. If you are on the fence about kinosaki, COME. And if you do, STAY HERE!!"

Fantastic restaurant - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner and an evening drink up there. Kinosaki onsen itself is lovely we visited 3 onsen with the pass that they provided us. Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."

The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the famous bathhouses, restaurants, and the charming canal, making it incredibly easy to enjoy everything this wonderful town has to offer. One of our favorite parts of the stay was being able to immerse ourselves in the unique atmosphere of Kinosaki while returning each evening to such a peaceful and comfortable hotel. Every interaction with the staff reflected the warmth and care for which Japan is known. If you’re planning a visit to Kinosaki Onsen, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It combines outstanding service, comfort, and an ideal location to create a truly unforgettable experience. We would gladly stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful town."

"A good spot to stay in Kinosaki. The room itself was pretty outdated with an old tv - I really enjoy when hotel TV's have casting capabilities which this one did not. But the service and meals service was excellent, it's a self-serve buffet style dining which is great if you're a slightly fussy eater like myself. A little disappointed that the room view was blocked by netting for maintenance, which Inwas advised prior to arrival but after booking. I think some form of discount would have been nice for the inconvenience considering I had booked a river view room."

"Staff were incredibly attentive and nice. Even with the language barrier they went above and beyond using Google Translate to explain the courses of our dinners and breakfasts, as well as information about the town. The hotel was slightly out of town (15mins walk) but they have a shuttle that was basically on demand. We wanted to go into town for the night and they dropped and picked us up at our desired time. The property is also tucked at the base of a mountain which made for a beautiful location. Overall a relaxing stay and a highlight of my 3 week trip around Japan. "
