Rooms very large, comfy and large beds. The male receptionist was very welcoming, kind, Hardworking, beaming with smiles all over. Proper hospitality

Property was on the 5th floor (4th floor if ground is zero) with no working elevato. Wifi was sporatic and often not working at all. Smell from bathroom drains. Location is in chaos of downtown during the day and a bit like post-apocapypic after dark with unlit streets. Breakfast offered only between 7:00-8:00. Hotel is locked down at a certain point at night. Walls need fresh paint to remove dirt smears. But, price is inexpensive.

My stay
The receptionist was not there or available when I arrived. The Wi-Fi was not working which they fixed for 3 or something then it was not working again. But I liked the mini fridge and the bathroom was very clean big up.

No one was at the desk to check me in, Wi-Fi went out almost immediately after I arrived. The only saving grace was Thomas went and got me a local SIM card so I could communicate and continue working.

Nice on the inside, good air-conditioning. But you need to call ahead to get the elevator and if they don't answer it is 4 flights of stairs to walk up. But it was nice and clean.

the hotel is really at the Center of kumasi,Very loud area,will not recommend to Family Holiday (more than two People in a Suite/room is really uncomfortable)

Dear guest, I am sorry your experience at Mikaddo City Inn was not a pleasant one. It is in our interest to provide an ideal place for guest irrespective of their special needs for an affordable place to stay in the city of Kumasi. Our in-room space has been ideal for most guests who have given us the opportunity to serve them and as such regarded as the ideal place for visitors to Kumasi. Right from the word go, your demand for a spacious room where two kids could play and run around was a bit problematic. As to the loud noise from the streets, we are currently assessing the best options to make the affected rooms sound proof as possible. The initial room we offered was a good fit but again, you opted for a change in room on the stretch where noise control is limited. As we discussed, I hope that the next time you visit, a lot more will he different as we seek to contribute to your best moments and experiences in the cultural and traditional citadel of Ghana. The property is located at the Business district of the city which makes it easily accessible. However, this also makes the environment noisy as the building is also used for a bank, clinic and other business activities.

A Pleasant Surprise
Mikaddo is located at the commercial area of Kumasi City. Easy access to other areas of attractions by foot or taxi or ‘trotro’. The room is clean, and as shown in the pictures with functionable facilities except for the lift which sometimes does not work. Caution if you have mobility problems. Otherwise everything was perfect for the price you pay. And very courteous and helpful staff! Thanks staff! I’ll recommend to family and friends.

The property offers a phenomenal view of the centr of Kumasi in a very modern setting. The concierge Goodlet Owusu or better known as Goody made my stay there flow by guiding me on where to go and how to do things as well actually taking me to the place himself when directions got tricky. His recommendations were excellent and always on point. I don’t think I would’ve experienced Kumasi in such a rich way without his expertise.

Hôtel près du marché
L’accueil n’a pas du tout à la hauteur ; le patron a dit au téléphone à la personne de l’accueil que je n’avais aucune réservation et que expédia avait écrit que ma carte bancaire n’avait pas fonctionné ; ce n’est que après après avoir menacé de faire une réclamation auprès d’hotel.com et l’hôtel avoir exigé le paiement si je voulais une chambre que la réservation a été retrouvée ; j’ai perdu un quart d’heure pour rien et personne ne s’est excusé ; mais après cette péripétie le personnel était très aimable et serviable ; la personne de l’accueil nous a même accompagné pour nous montrer le chemin d’un restaurant La chambre était spacieuse avec air conditionné et ventilateur, TV et frigo ; la SDB était spacieuse L’hôtel est très bien situé à proximité du grand marché de Kumasi et pas très loin du musée mais c’est un peu bruyant à partir de 6 h 30 mais c’est très calme la nuit

Dear Francis, We apologize for the unfortunate turn of events upon your arrival and we promise that it will not happen again. The truth of the matter is that prior to your arrival, expedia had through an email warned us about a ‘fraudulent’ booking and that if the individual was allowed to stay, we will have to demand payment at our facility. When you filled your registration card with a name unfamiliar to the one we knew on expedia, coincidentally, your ‘unfamiliar’ name matched the one that expedia had warned us against and therefore led to the rigorous due diligence you experienced. Guest’ priority is our hallmark and we feel a great deal of satisfaction anytime we are afforded the opportunity to serve especially via Expedia other platforms and we are putting in measures to ensure that it never happens again.
