"We chose Mercure for our first anniversary and had informed the hotel in advance, hoping for a comfortable and memorable stay. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the high amount we paid. The room we were given had multiple issues. The AC was not working properly, which made the stay uncomfortable. In the bathroom, the shampoo dispenser was not functioning, the hand wash dispenser was leaking, and the power socket near the basin was not working. Although the staff was polite and helpful they did respond after we raised complaints and managed to fix some of the issues, the overall experience was far from pleasant. For a special occasion like an anniversary, we expected better maintenance, attention to detail, and a smoother experience from the start. Overall, it did not feel worth the price we paid, and it impacted what should have been a special celebration therefore we celebrated outside the hotel."

"Very nice small hotel with lots of cultural decorative details. Beds were lovely, breakfast was tasty, and staff were very kind and helpful. There is an entrance courtyard with both outside and covered areas for sitting, and this is where breakfast is served. We stayed at the hotel both before and after our Himalayan trek, and staff remembered us. We had to adjust some dates for the second stay, and they alloyed it no problem. They also stored oit luggage. "

"I continue to stay at Diana Hotel when i am in Kathmandu because they offer good service , kind staff, great housekeeping, good food and overall it's always pleasant. When i arrived back from India last week, I wasn't feeling well and the staff offered to drive me to the closest pharmacy. It's those kinds of little things and everything i have mentioned above why I would recommend Diana Hotel."
