Hale Ohana Hauoli: Spacious, Charming Kukui'ula Villa w/Geometric Pool+Spa!

"My experience was good but not great. I will start by saying the house is beautiful and in a beautiful neighborhood. Also, communication with the management company was great and they returned my messages quickly. They even worked we me about possibly rescheduling my trip due to the hurricane that hit the island a few weeks before. The issue is that when I spend this kind of money per night and in total, I high expectations. The house while beautiful had some issues. The pocket doors were very difficult to open and close, we even had maintenance come out to open the doors to my kids bedroom. Furthermore, the closet doors in my kids bedroom wouldn’t close due to hardware issues and maintenance couldn’t fix it until after we left. Faucet handles and n the kitchen and shower were loose etc. Although, when we called the management company they sent someone out right away to fix the issues, well all but one issue. I have to say the maintenance man they sent out was awesome!!! He was very friendly and even gave us advice on things to do and food places to try on the island. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is because I feel that things should be perfect. I mean I’m on vacation and don’t want to deal with real life problems. I feel as if they had a checklist of things to check off before the next families stay then it would almost eliminate any issues in the future. Well maybe it was just bad luck, seeing that it had been 30years since the last hurricane hit & again b4 my stay."

"This house was ideal for our large family vacation of 11 people (6 adults, 5 kids). The decor was amazing and so well thought out to even the smallest detail. Everyone had ample space, and the kids enjoyed the bunk room. The kitchen was well appointed, we loved the double washers and dryers to keep up with laundry, and the outdoor space/pool was perfect for relaxing. Location was convenient to Old Town Kōloa, and we appreciated the walking path on the golf course to the ocean and to the shops At Kukui’ula. We would stay here again in a heart beat and recommend it to friends."

"This property is amazing. The house was clean and has a perfect set up. The spa and pool are beautiful. It's in a gorgeous area and the beaches are a quick 5 minute drive. There is a room with a large tv and seating which our kids loved. My only criticism isthat there are no other tv's in the home. The kitchen was wonderful and really clean. We appreciated that because not all rentals are that way. We loved our week in Kauai and would come back again to this house!"

"HURRICANE AT HALE NANIThere aren’t enough superlatives to describe this stunning villa. We were swept away! And rode out Hurricane LALA there in comfort and safety.5 star accommodations for 8–10 with 4 beautiful spacious ensuites plus detached casita/ADU. The huge custom closets/ storage in each suite are so rarely encountered. Tasteful, elevated design choices throughout the house—yet unobtrusive and appropriate to an island setting. We were big fans as well of the vast pantry and laundry room. Stunning great room in which to gather, eat, cook. Every imaginable amenity. Effective AC and fans were appreciated in the tropical clime. Mesmerizing 180 view of golf course and sea beyond, and huge outdoor area w/ pool, spa, firepit. The fotos don’t convey the impressive scale. The perfect setting in which to celebrate our 6O th Anniversary w/ our 3 gen Ohana of veteran travelers. House so private yet well located minutes away from markets, shops and restaurants in charming Koloa and Poipu. 10 mins to beaches —though I personally couldn’t leave the infinity pool. ;)My husband took a tumble and urgent care in Shops at Kukui’ula was superb. Wailani Kauai management team was incredibly gracious, communicative, and responsive. A special shoutout to Frankie who catered to our every need and guided us through the hurricane. We’ve taken many family trips and this was our favorite hands down. Mahalo nui loa"

"This is an absolutely stunning property with everything that our family could need. The rooms were comfortable and the communal spaces were perfect for gathering all 11 of us. Wonderful kitchen and BBQ for all our cooking needs. The pool and spa were perfect!"
Kauai Bay House – Oceanfront w/ A/C & PBAC

"Gorgeous view of the bay and golf course with the sound of the crashing waves! Kitchen well stocked and the location was nice. Sunrise from one side of the house and could see the sunset from the beach a few steps away. Traditional Hawaiian house with gorgeous palm trees which we loved plus having AC on the first floor living area and downstairs bedrooms was a plus. Also extra fans available if needed. Nice washer and dryer. Need to bring your own detergent. Beach chairs, cooler and umbrella a nice plus. Also Enjoyed having a table and chairs under the covered patio. Only concern: Would recommend putting a blackout blind in the windows of the first floor bedrooms as they are sheer and the house next door left the flood lights on all night. Also a light shines very bright at the harbor. Enjoyed our stay!"
