"The room facilities and bed were clean and good. I had good sleep. I had river view which is very nice. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The staffs were very friendly and nice. Only drawback is the bathroom, looks old furnishing and some parts does not look clean enough. Feel discomfort during my time in the bathroom. The bathroom amenities could have been 5 star standard. "Permai is fantastic, we had a treehouse and enjoyed waking up to monkeys and bird song each morning. It is a perfect place to just relax and do nothing or book some tours from. The staff were all lovely and helpful, if driving us themselves to catch a late afternoon boat trip. We extended our stay another night as we loved it so much."

"The hotel interior is clean and spacious, so was the room. The breakfast buffet spread was superb. What I didn't like - the exterior needs upkeep, as in the windows. The glass is full of dirt and rain spots...gives an otherwise lovely view out, a not so lovely view. "Location great. River just over the road. Main town a few minutes walk. The decor of the hotel almost put me off booking as it’s really not my style but I’m glad I went ahead and stayed. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. Large windows so plenty of natural light, able to be opened a little too. Staff were helpful and friendly. 7/11 right across the road plenty of places to eat nearby. Would stay again."

"I chose this hotel as it was very accessible to the conference centre where I was attending a conference. I was pleasantly surprised with the room - it was clean, very spacious, comfortable bed. Nice views (though dirty windows). The room even had a kitchenette in it (but with a note that no cooking allowed?!). Lovely big bath and separate shower. However hotel as a whole has appearance of neglect.

"The apartment really was top notch, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped. I was greeted outside hours by Lung who very quickly and efficiently got me checked in and settled in to the apartment. The properties share gym and pool facilities with the adjoining hotel and are very good and there is also an attached mall which has good shopping although I prefer the supermarket just across the main road. The Hoff, again just across the street, is a great place to get a drink and unwind a bit. It also has the added benefit of staying open quite late. Hope you enjoy the stay as much as I did."
