Förvånansvärt bra för priset.

Det var ett trevligt hotell, fina rum och sköna sängar. Viss personal var mindre tillmötesgående än andra. Städningen av vårt rum uteblev dock 2 dagar. De som jobbade i restaurangen var underbara och frukostbuffén hade stort och varierande utbud. Rekommenderar dock glutenintoleranta att ta med eget bröd då deras var väldigt torrt.

Photos are much better. Laundry is not self-service- it is pay per item and very expensive. Food was decent. Bathroom was clean but the extra blankets were not very clean looking and there was no cover to put them in. Front desk staff are nice.

Plusem była bardzo dobra lokalizacja i świetna obsługa hotelu. Minusem niestety był bardzo mały telewizor w pokoju, z 3 kanałami. Zmechacone poduszeczki i narzuty na łóżko. Uszkodzona suszarka w łazience. Co do śniadania, w niedzielę "wczorajsze" bułki, brak ciemnego pieczywa.

Attending conference nearby

Overall a very good hotel to stay in to attend conference at ICE centre. Before getting into my thoughts..... I prefer to stay in reasonable cost and friendly hotels rather than more costly corporate hotels I felt very safe walking about.i walked about between 7 am and 8 pm...other people walking/cycling were office workers,parents taking kids to school.oaps walking their dogs.people going shopping.The area seemed to being regenerated Hilton hotel.jaguar/Porsche garage nearby but still had some run down buildings close to the hotel and 70s high rise flats near by with new exec type flats being built nearby. The hotel was similar to a holiday Inn express style.a few loose handles here and there but more than compensated by helpful staff and good continental breakfast included in price. Personally prefer hotels with some character than being perfect. Internet worked fine including watching Netflix with odd slowpatch but this seemed to coincide with largish coach party arriving. About 8 to 10 minutes away was a smallish Miele?? Supermarket that had all the basics you would need at reasonable price Would definitely stay again if going to another conference. Another good thing about Krakow is that taxi prices are fixed so 109 zloties for fixed distanc.from sirport ..I hate arriving at airport late and the cost seems to be a lottery.

W cenie 200/noc na pewno nie wart - pokój nie sprzątnięty przed przybyciem (patrz zdjęcia) i bardzo zimny. Całość ratuje klimatyzacja z funkcją grzania. Na plus dobra woda w butelkach i otwieracz w pokoju, oraz śniadania od 7 rano.

Very basic but good value

I stayed here for 3 nights while on business. The hotel is old and slightly tired. The curtain on the window did not fit right across, so full sunlight woke me up at 5am each morning. The rooms have free wi-fi which was strong enough for emails and web browsing etc but not strong enough for a decent FaceTime or SKYPE session which can be a problem if your wanting to connect with family back home. Although very basic, the bed was fairly comfortable and the shower had boiling hot water. The reception and restaurant staff are amazingly friendly. It's cheap to stay but also cheap in the restaurant and bar. Ordinarily, I prefer a 4 star when travelling on business, but putting a value based on cost and standard, I would certainly eep this as an option in the future.

Billigt, lagom centralt hotell

Trevlig personal och hyfsat bra läge. Sängen var i det hårdaste laget men i övrigt var rummet och hotellet till belåtenhet, särskilt med tanke på det låga priset.

Remote location

Krakow is a nice city but i would never stay in this hotel owing to this remote location. We stayed there for 4 nights but the staff gave me a very special room - super tiny room (just like a side room for storage). With request, the staff agreed to change a 'normal one' for us (we knew that the occupancy rate was very low during our stay)

Paid extra money for 3 beds so we (2) guys wouldn't be sleeping side by side. Got the room and only had 2 beds then wanted us to pay for parking even tho there own website said parking was free.

Hotel Wilga Stay

The Hotel Wilga was an excellent hotel. The room was comfortable. I had plenty of space to include a desk for any work I needed to accomplish. Although I was on the 3rd (top) floor, my sink and shower had plenty of water pressure, and I never ran out of hot water. If you drive to the hotel, reserve a parking space. It was 60 PLZ/day (US$20.70 / 14.60 Euro, change rate was 2.90 PLZ = US$1.00 / 4.10 PLZ = 1.00 Euro), but it was worth the extra cost. Parking is very limited around the hotel. Also, learn the tram system. The hotel is near bus and tram stops, and the public transportation system will take you most places. Parking downtown is a hunting trip for any opening. I did not eat at the restaurant, but other patrons enjoyed the food. The staff was professional and friendly. When I return to Krakow, I would consider the Hotel Wilga again.

Hotel adeguato per una breve visita alla città

Hotel posto a 10 minuti a piedi dalle fermate di tram e autobus,sulla sponda sud della Vistola. In una zona defilata ma tranquilla nelle cui vicinanze ci sono case popolari o residenziali di nuova costruzione.Gli interni sono nel complesso gradevoli,moderni,il personale dell'hotel è cortese e disponibile,le camere sono piuttosto ampie.Buona la pulizia del bagno,la temperatura dell'ambiente era adeguata visto il freddo del periodo a cracovia!la colazione a buffet è abbondante e comunque nella media di altre strutture di pari categoria.Nel complesso direi proporzionale il rapporto qualità/prezzo.Consigliabile un pò a chiunque non abbia esigenze particolari di comfort e si accontenti di non essere in una zona centrale.

A little bit in the middle of nowhere

One side of the hotel is near a very busy road which made it quite noisy and the other is near the waterfront which is very undeveloped. We approached by a road which was pretty deserted and if I had been travelling on my own I would have felt uncomfortable returning to it at night. That said, it was warm, clean and had good wi-fi. The hotel staff were also pleasant. If the project to develop the waterfront area goes ahead this hotel could be very handy.
