Varana Hotel Krabi

"We had a wonderful stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The hotel is beautifully designed, aesthetic, and meticulously maintained. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and always happy to help with a smile at any time. The facilities are top-notch: the fitness center is hands down one of the best you'll find in a hotel, and the spa and treatment area is of a very high standard. A couple of things to keep in mind: Spa amenities: The wet/dry sauna is only open for about three hours a day (split into single-hour slots) and comes with an extra fee, which was a bit disappointing. Location: The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from central Ao Nang. This means you will likely find yourself commuting there once or twice a day if you're looking for attractions or taking boat trips to the islands (like Railay or Phi Phi), which are a must-do."

"There is nothing bad to say about our stay at the Rayavadee resort. The entire staff were extremely respectful and helpful. Whatever we needed they were there to help. The staff all seemed to know our schedule for each day which made it nice when it came to cleaning our room or for the evening turn down service.. they always worked around us. When our toilet in our Villa developed a small leak they came immediately to try and repair it. When it appeared to be something they could not do quickly, they immediately moved and upgraded us from a one bedroom villa with pool to a two bedroom villa with pool. The activities department was extremely helpful in recommending and coordinating our offsite activities. Salma and Mario did an outstanding job in booking out our tours and hiding us through them. The food in all the restaurants was outstanding but the breakfast that was included with the room each day is one of the best we’ve ever had. Great mix of local dishes and western food that changed on a daily basis to fresh fruit, salad, cheese, etc. I would not hesitate to stay there the next time we visit Thailand."

"Overall a pleasant stay with plenty of activities and restaurants around. Breakfast is excellent with many choices to choose from. There is some constructions going on at the time but does not affect the atmosphere of the facility that much"

"Our first stay at Avani Ao Nang Cliff was to celebrate my dad’s birthday with our extended family, following our previous experience at the Ko Lanta property. From arrival to departure, the thoughtful hospitality, polished service, and attention to detail created an elevated and memorable experience. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, efficient, and exceptionally warm. Special thanks to Pine, Nutty, Milk, Beem, and Tiger for making breakfast truly exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making this celebration so memorable. 10/10 overall experience. We look forward to returning to Krabi."
