The staff and facilities were excellent, however the rough unmade ground just outside our room was quite difficult, especially for my wife who has mobility issues and uses a stick.

We stayed in the ocean view jacuzzi room which was excellent. The plug was missing but the maintenance team sorted that immediately. Being on the hill there is a golf kart which takes you up amd down which was easy to use. The view was amazing! Location was perfect. Pool area was nice and quiet. The pool itself wasnt nice to swim in, too chemically on the eyes. The staff at the pool were clueless to say the least, although very polite. No organisation, half the menu unavailable and it seemed like most of our drinks were brought up from the main hotel so a slow service. Seems like a reflection on management n9t staff itself. Breakfast was awful! Check in and out was easy. Laundry service was also great.

Excellent location - good conditon & service
Staff were very friendly. Swimming pool with bar open during day, food available from reception, Snack restaurant and main "breakfast" restaurant - but all closed in the evening. However, literally hundreds of restaurants are available within easy walking distance, as location is very central, nicely set back from main drag, but only 200 metres from beach. Resort is built over a steep extensive attractively wooded hillside - mixture of blocks and some individual units- fortunately they have a "buggy" to drive you too and from your room whenever required, otherwise it would be a problem for anyone with even slight mobility problems - or even the active struggling uphill in the heat/humidity. Rooms are modern-featureless but comfortable, very well air-conditioned: ours had a quiet balcony with views through trees to sea. Large extension block(s) and another swimming pool about to open further up hill- Feb 2020

Very convenient location, few minutes walk to the beach. We would like to commend your staffs for such great service. We had issues with the TV & your staff changed a TV for us when the issue could not be solved. On our check out day, the buggy waited patiently for us even though we told the staff to just bring our luggages down. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The room was excellent as was the location. The pool was very nice but had a severe shortage of deck chairs. Guests went down at 9 am to reserve them and we never did get to enjoy the pool

Went for diving so not too fussed about the hotel. But the bungalow I chose was really not in a great condition. Very far from reception, very dark and not very clean. Clearly needs either upgrading or tearing down. Also breakfast very poor for the price.

Favourite so far.
The hotel and staff were perfect! The room was large, bright and comfortable. The bathroom was also ideal. The only drawback was that our room was at the top of a steep hill. If anyone has limited mobility it would prove difficult. The majority of the rooms are easier to access. The pool area is spacious and well looked after. The food was reasonably priced and well presented. We would definitely return! It is located close to the many restaurants and shops with a short walk to the beach. Ao Nang is a good spot for accessing other islands too.

The staff is quite friendly and helpful, and they are pleased to answer any queries. Very kind. The equipment is abit older esp. the air con, a bit noisy. But room very clean. Really appreciate the kindness of the staff, esp. the smiling girl in the reception desk, she is so sweet and nice! They even helped me after I checked out and left Thailand ! I will go to this resort next time should I go Krabi again.

Stayed in room 721,nice spacious room ,spotlessly clean.The only niggle was the early morning noise from the kitchen below.The pool area needs more pads for the sun beds. overall a nice place with lovely staff.

Highly recommend this hotel; which away from the main road so u don’t hear any night time life noise; but on the other hand is very closed to shops and main attractions on Krabi. About less then 5 mins to the beach. The working staff are absolutely amazing; welcoming; always smiling; willing to do anything for guests at any time and whatever.

Did not like this place at all. Room was hot. It a little wooden bunglow. No place for your baggage. TV is the old style, under powered signal & intermittant wifi. These bungalows have seen better days. Under lit, needs more powerful light bulbs & more of them. The bathroom end of the room is in permanent darkness. Bathroom is basic, hardly a single shelf or hook. Water is luke warm. So glad to move to the hotel next door. Avoid.

Hotel with character and great location.
The hotel has a colonial design. It was quaint and has lots of trees and nature around it. We love to wake up to the sound of nature and breathtaking view of the limestone and trees. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful and proactive. Location was the best as it was around the buzzing street of restaurants, shopping, massage parlour, convenience stores and 2 minutes to Ao Nang beach. However, when we step into the hotel ground, it's back to peace and serenity.

Very good resort hotel. Great location, good value for money. Service can be a little slow but other than that the hotel is spot on. Great room, comfy big bed and good buffet style breakfast. Fruit choice limited but other options good.

We were given a bungalow type room. Something (like perhaps a rat) kept us up at night from around 11pm, for the first few nights, scratching around in a cavity wall behind the double bed headboard...so clearly audible and despite banging the wall, would not stop. We evtually needed to move room for a night at around 2am, and then move again the next day to a third room where we remained for the rest of our booking, and without much distraction. The staff were great to sort that out. Unfortunately though, we had a blocked toilet on tow occasions and the basic shower would not stay at a height above your head without being handheld. Bit awkward to shower like that. So for me, the fundamentals of an undisturbed sleep, decent shower and working toilet were found to be lacking. On one occasion, we arrived for breakfast it had opened but it was unprepared and unable to cook for us. Instead of informing us that they were running a little behind schedule, they said that what we wanted wasn't on offer that day, and then a little later on we noted that they were serving the food, once their cooks had turned up. So all in, not the best experience, unfortunately.

Just the best
We stayed in Krabi Tipa resort for 4 nights. The resort is only 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and from all the restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious and bright. The staff is just amazing! Super helpful and kind and friendly! They made our stay just perfect. Great breakfast and beautiful atmosphere and surrounding. We'll definitely come back.!!

Our stay was excellent in hotel Tipa. We selected bungalow instead of standard room. Bungalow was nice, good value for money. Bungalow located in very quiete area, however close to street with lot of restaurants and bars.
