Kjempekoselig hotell veldig sentralt

D var en helt vidunderlig ferie m min eldste datter Tonje.Vi reiste for å komme unna jula og bare kose oss. Hotellet lå perfekt til for å ta ferjene ut til småøyene.i et rolig område med små tradisjonelle kafeer.italienske resturanter.og familiemarter omkring oss. Og kort vei inn til Ao nang m tuctuc til an pris av ca 20 kr. Personalet var så hyggelige og imøtekommende.de viste ikke d beste de kunne fått gjort for oss. Stedet var veldig rent og pent og de vaska og spylte rundt området hver natt. Rommene var store og gode.med vannkoker og føner og både store dusjhåndklær og badehåndkle. De vasket og byttet håndklær hver dag.sengetøy hver 4 dag.og fylte på med vann og kaffepulver. Personalet der gjorde slik at vi følte oss veldig velkommen selv om ikke alle snakket så godt engelsk.kroppspråk og ordbok hjalp til. Hvis jg skulle si no som manglet.så måtte d være at de ikke serverte no lunsj eller snacks.men d kunne vi lett finne rett rundt hjørnet hvor de laget kjempedeilig mat for en slikk og ingenting. Kommer mer enn gjerne tilbake til hotellet.og neste gang forhåpentligvis da med min 2 datter Malin.også med.

The staff was rude, the room horrible. Very noisy at night. The air con was leaking INSIDE the room and was only working full power so it was freezing inside. I really don’t recommend. Diamond cave resort just beside was amazing!!

Hotel is nice, breakfast is good. The staff was great. Taweka often checked to see if I needed anything, bottled water, room cleaning and like the rest of the staff always had a warm friendly smile. For me I liked the location being away from the hustle and bustle but still on a beach, near the pier and on the local shuttle route. Seven minute ride to Ao Nang Beach and ten minute walk To meditate alone.

Staffing Communication Issues

Clean rooms, good value, near pier to Railay. English speaking skills of staff surprisingly bad. Traveling with friends, we all booked rooms separately (3 rooms total). Went to check in and two friends were given rooms on the top floor with ocean view and I was given one downstairs with no view. My friend's boyfriend (who is Thai) asked the staff member, if I could move into the room next to them so we could all be near each other, man said the room was not ready. Ok, fine, no worries, we thought. Next morning we were checking out and the female staff put me on the phone with someone, a manager, I'd imagine, who wanted to know why I didn't sleep on the second floor, because they had assigned us 3 rooms upstairs, to which I replied that I went to the room that belonged to the key I had been given, AND that we had even asked the staff member if the room was available and he had said no. Confusing to say the least. It seems like there are some issues to work on with communication between management and staff, before they accuse guests of not sleeping in their assigned rooms. Check in was also painfully slow. Rooms clean and new, fine place to stay for the night.

Perfect low budget stay

The surrounding area was not touristy at all, but we found some wonderful food for very cheap. The place is right on the beach, and the rooms get the job done.

The room was lovely fresh and new, well equipped with amenities. Fridge was a bonus! Only downside is that the bed is very, very hard. The internet can drop from time to time but all you need to do is switch to a different access point and it’s fine, pretty speedy too! Yes it’s out of the main area but there are plenty of buses, vans and songthaews passing by to get you into Ao Nang in less than 10 minutes. A few local eateries were cheap and really tasty, most notably Roti Corner. The pool was lovely as the beach is a mangrove beach. If you do crave a beach you can catch the boat to Railey every half an hour for £4 each way. Overall a relaxing stay, and for the price it was a great find!
