"Right in the centre of Udine with convenient parking in the basement for a reasonable price of € 10 a day. Very helpful staff made our stay pleasant and a good recommendation for a place to eat was immediately followed up with a check for availability and kitchen opening hours, as we arrived quite late. The hotel had a feel of past glory, but all was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was good, - freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee and well made eggs and a lot of choices. "

"The hotel itself is wonderful, offering excellent service, beautiful rooms, and a great location right next to the marina. Overall, it’s a lovely place. Unfortunately, the dining experience at the attached restaurant was really disappointing. Both my dish—burnt, almost inedible risotto—and my companion’s tasteless seafood pasta were far below expectations. The service in the restaurant was also subpar. It’s a shame, as everything else about the hotel was so great."

"We ended up here because we couldn’t find a hotel anywhere else, but it was awesome. Great price and very “European”. We stayed in a senior suite with a living room and bathroom. Gorizia is a beautiful, small, Italian college town. We had a delicious dinner just across the street and truly enjoyed the 16th century bar in our hotel where the bartender told us a lot about the hotel history. "

"This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do. Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. I had to ask for them to be replaced. The shampoo and body wash container in the bathroom was empty throughout my stay. I travel with my own so didn’t need...

"The family suite was spacious and airy. Clean and fresh with pretty views of the piazza. Staff exceptional along with delicious dinner and breakfast in the hotel. "

"We really wanted to like this hotel. Its super quiet, super clean with a modern feel and an excellent breakfast. Didnt love that the shower is open and almost transparent, but that would have been fine. The major dusappointment was that our room was a toasty 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) for all 4 days/3 nights of our stay. The first night we asked the front desk how we could turn on the A/C. The gentleman said that they dont turn it on until May (it's currently April), but did not offer to help...
