I booked this hotel for friends because it was convenient, great location, good security (reception desk always manned, and keycard necessary for the lift), friendly staff with great English, quiet, bathroom had shower space (not over toilet). However, the room is very small, although the king sized bed was comfortable.

Location wise, so far so good. Nearest train station was few meters away. Room was a bit small but beds were okay. Toilet is located just 4 steps away from the bed. As a tourist, im often out and sightseeing so I dont mind. As long as, the room (esp the bed) and toilet are clean and doesnt have a smell. Overall, this is a great place.

Great choice for a budget travel
Besides being a 2 star, it is much better than those on Chuking Mansion on Nathan Rd. I definitely recommend you try this if you are on a budget.

You Get What You Pay For!
This is more like a guesthouse than a hotel. It is located in a very busy local area--lots of small shops and restaurants on street. The rooms are TINY. I booked because of the picture of the bathroom but my bathroom did not look anything like the picture. There were only 2 English language TV station and one was news that scrolled most of the time. The other sometimes had scrolled news, or was in Chinese, but in the evening it was English. It would be very hard for 2 people to stay in this room. I would not stay here again because the room was claustrophobic.

Great hotel for the money
The room was nice but a little small.... hotel staff really friendly went out of the way for me and my wedding needs. Room was nicely decorated and clean nice warm shower I guess that's rare in Hong Kong lol. .... great hotel for a reasonable price ... definitely would stay there again

Barely okay
Location : accessible ; (female) traveling alone do need to be vigilant at night as it's located amidst a number of massage parlours. Lodging : staff do tend to be helpful ; however housekeeping does need to be better ( towels given are torn ; & toiletries aren't replenished etc ) ; hot water isn't consistent.

If possible, you may want to give it a miss.
The surrounding area during the evening or night is not too ideal for a family to stay in, probably except for a good dinner at Temple Street. Other than that, nothing to shout about as it is about 10 minutes walk to nearest MTR station.

Red Chai is a wonderful place

Compact hotel in Kowloon
Handy little hotel close to the hustle and bustle of Kowloon, Close to the Temple St markets, Nathan Road and Jordan Subway Station. My room was clean and comfortable for the two day stay. Friendly staff and quiet at night. Only 3 small negatives: the room was small, it was noisy in the morning with house-keeping cleaning the other rooms so not good if you want to sleep-in and finally the hot water in the shower took a long time to come out meaning I was wasting water. Would stay there again if travelling alone for a short stay.

WORST OF THE WORST
THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED. They put a an that is far from what actual room is, and when I complained, they treat me as a LIER. They ORDERED me to "show the proof" that they'd put an wrong ad and I I would do, they "do anything." BUT THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING, EVEN AFTER I SHOWED THEM THE FRAUD AD! Even though they have other rooms vacant, their manager refused to change the room, so I decided to leave. Their manager AGREED TO REFUND, BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION OR WHATSOEVER AFTER 5 DAYS. The staffs were rude and very unprofessional. No hospitality, skills, or understanding of service. Better pay 20-30 dollars more to receive a decent service.

Pretty nice for the price
Pretty nice overall. Very efficient front desk staffs. Room was decent, clean, no hassle and no issues. Neighborhood is lively at night as well as the day. Good food around the place as well.

Tiny rooms but comfortable space
Rooms are neat and decorated with taste. Efficient and educated staff make the visit even more enjoyable. The hotel also offers a huge collection of films at no charge thanks to a very smart sharing system that allows full enjoyment at no cost without infringing any copyright rules. The location is also quite convenient. The only down side of my visit is that I had to book in emergency on December 31st for three days and the room rates in HK rocket to many folds the standard prices, this hotel being no exception.

Only stayed at this hotel for 1 night, I would describe it as average for the money. The room was very small but it is a really big bed for such a small room. The most dissapointing thing was being charged 100hkd for damage and I got the feeling they just done this to get more money out of you.

Its a ok hotel located just behind Temple street where one can go for street shopping. Also adjacent are several restaurants serving food options of various countries like Indian, Philippines, Vietnam, Chinese, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Pakistani & various others. Metro (MTR) is also quite near by. The hotel located in almost centre of the city from where one can move about easily. I booked "Single-Plus" room which is quite small & suitable for 1 person with 1 luggage only. Room has a medium size bed for 1 person, a small table for work beneath the TV, tea-coffee maker, small fridge and a small bathroom. Bathroom size is good against what I read reviews from other users for similar hotels neary by in same budget. So I extended my stay by 4 days in this same hotel as I used the hotel only for sleeping at night & whole day out at work. Staff are helpful to guide you the direction. Internet wifi is good & stable. Hotel does not have a restaurant; I guess the reason as there are too many options nearby on the street.

The hotel is converted. Although the room is small but is ok as a sleeping areas. I stayed by myself it is worth it. It is affordable, but the neighborhood is so-so. I recommend this hotel for people just to shower and sleep. It is convenience to everything.

The hotel is nice. Modern, clean. Rooms are very small, but this is Hong Kong, and the price is right. The location is convenient to the MTR. The clientele on the streets at night is a little rough at night - not dangerous, just colorful.

I expected more
I booked the Mingle At Wellington and I was expecting something similar on the Kowloon side, however this was waaaay smaller than the other one and is bit far (not too far, but in the middle) of Jordan an Yau Ma Tei stations, anyway is just okay.

Tiny, clean room, good location and value
If you want to stay in Kowloon and see some of the genuine streets this is a good pick. Walking down to the Walk of Stars and the water takes about 20 min and it's a nice tour on the way as you get to see some of the neighborhoods and streets. They have good maps for free in this Hotel. Staff was friendly. Also, subway line connecting to the HK Island is very near.

Do not stay if you are a solo female traveller
MTR is only around the corner however it is seriously a disgraceful environment nearby. I will definitely not going to stay again. Room is small and I would rather pay tiny bit more to stay somewhere else, hence the price doesn't reflect what we get. Overall cleaniness is ok but the feeling of the whole place isn't.
