"When you arrive, this greeting area and lounge is an indication of the service and experience you are about to have. From the dinning experiences, the gym facility and lounge experiences are truly amazing. Add onto that personal touches with gustatory experiences at the Sapphyr lounge with Maneesha, Aakib, Navodya, Shalika, Harsha. They showed warmth and attention to detail making our experience memorable."

"Great location very close to shopping mall and walk along " the Lawn" a popular walk along the sea front at sunset. Hotel has so much history with it being the first and therefore the oldest hotel in Sri Lanka. It is beautifully restored and has 4 restaurants. A great buffet for breakfast afternoon tea and dinner. The King of the Mambo is an amazing bar right on the sea front. A great place to watch the waves crash before you 50 m away! Vishnu one of the bar team was excellent. Reserved a table for us each night and remembered our drinks! Swimming pool is huge right on the indian ocean. We had a relaxing full body massage which was fabulous. We got a balcony room at the front of the hotel which had great views. The room was large, big shower and separate toilet. Lots of wardrobe space and drawers. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and give it 11 out of 10!"
