Amazing location on edge of the bay. Stunning view from ‘sea-view’ room. Beach area lovely and relaxing (in May anyway). Old town Kotor around a 30 min safe walk - bus stop outside hotel but erratic hourly service if you want to take a gamble on one being on or near time (€2 to old town) - and got told two different scheduled arrival times so… Excellent choice at breakfast (regular and vegetarian). Boat trips can be arranged to pick you up from the hotel beach jetty (no extra charge). Excellent choice for our stay.

Great hotel with amazing sea view and private beach area. Great place for a couple romantic getaway! Good selection of breakfast and very helpful staffs especially Wai Wai and the manager (forgot his name). Gym is well equipped but have not used the spa though. The only negative point is limited car parking space and has to pay (I think it is standard in Europe). However, you can park free at nearby the residential parking area. Alternatively, you can park around the hotel lobby space but need to give your car key at the reception so that they can move if your car is blocking.

Stay away. The hotel’s public areas, beach and pools are nice, but the rooms and service are nowhere near 5-star standard. In many places this would be a 3-star, or a weak 4-star at best; helped only by location and beach facilities. For the price, especially compared with other much nicer properties we stayed at in Montenegro, it was very poor in quality. Upon arrival, security in the garage were very blunt demanding parking payment; though it's listed as €15/day, we paid €20/day. To reach our room, a teenager took us through service corridors; and upon entry the room was hot and smelled strongly of stagnant water emanating from shower drain - this foul smell never improved throughout our stay. The room itself was very tired, and badly maintained: loud AC, wonky bed, wobbling bedside tables, non-working plug sockets, peeling wallpaper, chipped bathroom tiles, stained shower glass, and a dirty balcony with a wasps’ nest (pictured). Most concerningly, later on, four teenage girls opened our room door with a Keycard. They were not in any uniform and didn't speak English. Reception seemed unconcerned, promised to investigate, then never updated us or replied to messages. No room change was offered despite this and the other issues. Breakfast was OK, but nowhere near 5-star resort quality, and extremely crowded at peak times; and whilst the beach is nice, watch out for €5 bottles of water and expensive in-room mini-bar. Seriously considering requesting a partial refund.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We highly recommend staying here. The staff were kind and welcoming, the location was quiet and a perfect distance away from city center Kotor, the room was spacious and wonderful and the breakfast was great (good variety). We would stay again!

We had lovely time in Kotor. Huma Kotor Hotel was good overall. Reception staff and staff at breakfast service was very helpful. There was no milk for tea/ coffee in rooms - room service did not get it even when we requested. Parking was paid!

Awesome! Highly recommend.

It was a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff are very nice and honored any additional requests we had. Me and my son had a premium double room with balcony and it had amazing views of the Bay of Kotor. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and it’s complimentary. Pool in great condition. Gym and Spa are superb. Overall would highly recommend. We will certainly stay here again if we visited Montenegro.
