Great place to stay. Plenty of dining options within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner and very safe to walk around. Very clean, great riverside views. Great room. Could go on and on but if you want to stay in Golden (which is great) then this is the place.

We enjoyed our overnight stay - it was a nice space with some great features - and in a magnificent setting. It was the closest cabin to the highway so we wondered whether it would be quite noisy during the night, but that wasn’t really an issue most likely because of double glazing. We would prefer a proper table to sit at rather than stools & bench or coffee table. Overall it suited us well but we did feel it was a bit pricey.

Loved this unique place. The room was huge!

The staff / owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and it was a very comfortable and spacious room

nice little hotel, perfectly placed, warm welcome from the owner, helpful and friendly. parking was fine would stay again

Very comfortable beds. Overall a luxurious room.

Completely as expected, design and look is a bit dated but it’s probably more woodsy cozy vibing. The gym is the usual hotel equipment, but we did make use of all the other water related amenities (hot tub, sauna, but skipped the steam room). Burgers were also generously portioned.

We loved everything about this place, and the town of Golden. Great alternative to staying in Banff. The lodge has plenty of character, very welcoming and cosy. Loved it.

Great condition, amenities and food service. Great vibes.

The owner is fantastic and thoughtfull. The room was clean and nice with everything you need and more.

Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Bed was super comfortable and rooms were a good size.

Food great - atmosphere great - staff all great as well. The hotel was kind enough to extend our check out time so we could relax a little longer.

Property was clean and we were able to check in early which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and being able to grab a coffee or tea during the day was a bonus.
