Very beautiful resort, staff are very helpful and kind, they couldn’t do enough for us. The only noise was the birds that sometimes was quite loud but we just got ear plugs next day and everything else was great.

We were super impressed with our stay at Rocky’s. The staff were so warm and friendly and kind. Nothing was any trouble and the facilities were all kept clean. Lots of little extra touches made the experience so enjoyable. BBQ Dinner on the beach on a Saturday night - complimentary cocktails for an hour Thursday night. Happy hour (for two hours) every night. If you don’t want to leave the hotel you don’t need to! Two pools to choose from. Pool table and library. The beach for a swim or take out the sup / canoe for a paddle. Plenty to do!

Very cute beach resort, tastefully decorated with a good restaurant, 2 nice pools and very kind and helpful staff. The beach is small, the sand is course and the water not great for swimming. We stayed in a garden room and if we were to go here again would definitely spring for the pool or sea view rooms as they offer better views and more privacy.

Nice hotel but a few things missing
Overall a nice experience. Modern and spacious rooms, two nice pool areas, helpful and nice staff, overall good food. Things that could have been better: 1) Prices: The restaurant at the hotel is way overpriced, around 3 times what you would pay at a local restaurant. They add 20% service charge on all food & drink bills. 2) Location: Feels a bit far from things you would want to see on the island. There is a shuttle service until 5 pm, at the top of each hour. For a hotel of this level, I'd have expected the shuttle service to be much more frequent and easier to book. We ended up using taxis a lot, which was an added expense. 3) Spa: No health forms or injury questions before a massage. You just walk in and they start. I had to warn about an ankle injury during a massage.

Really superb boutique hotel.
I was nearly a bit cautious about booking Rocky’s because they had so many good reviews I wondered if it was real. I’m so glad I went ahead - this is a hotel that deserves them all. We had a magnificent stay here and were made to feel so welcome by the staff, delicious breakfast, amazing room on the beach….we could go on, but this would rank amongst the one of the best stays I’ve had worldwide. Only one negative - Rocky’s also unfortunately refers to the beach in parts, but the resort does provide reef shoes.

Stayed here with our 14 month old in a pool suite villa. It was ideal, we moved from the beach to the pool, the pool to the beach. Staff were amazing and new our sons name for every meal. Highly recommend this place! I would stay here again. The transfer to and from the airport also had a baby seat for the car!

Mixed experience but great service and team.
Great hotel, team and service overall. A little out of the way and taxis not always available to flag down. However, there’s drivers who sometimes give out business cards so can drop them a message for pick up. Breakfast is solid mix of western and Thai :) Beach is not really a beach given how rocky it is - I got an injury whilst there - but take a taxi to Lamai beach (3 mins) and you’re all good.

What was meant to be a 6 night stay turned into a 18 night stay! We were very happy with our stay at the hotel which ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort, cleanliness and service. The front line staff were highly attentive, friendly and courteous. It was refreshing to see the management team take time out to speak to guests and going out of their way to make themselves approachable. Admittedly, having a room less than 10 metres from the sea did wonders for a positive sentiment about the hotel, though it also helps that none of the team were prone to complacency.

Overall we found Rocky’s as an excellent property with the great accomodation offering and pools. Food at the resort was also enjoyable (with only one below par dish during our entire stay, which happened to be a most expensive dish). Additional services offered by the resort itself (I.e transfers, tours, Poolside meals, etc.) were executed well and professionally. We did have a island tour arranged by the hotel with an external party, which unfortunately did not live up to our expectations, although it would be hard to entirely blame the resort for this! Overall we were very pleased with our stay! Thank you!

We as family of two adults and two young girls had a fantastic 4 nights/5 days stay at Rocky’s boutique resort at the end of December 2019. There were many excellent things to mention including , the lovely accommodation spread out amongst exquisite and beautifully maintained resort grounds . There are various nooks and crannies which are well done. We had a lovely private boat trip on Josephine and captain Bao and his helper were superb. The fishing and snorkelling was very good. The next day we had a private island tour. Pools are on smaller side but very well maintained. The private beach is small but clean and good. The bbq night with fire dancers was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Ala Cart food at both restaurant and bistro were very good. Pizzas were outstanding. Overall staff were friendly and very efficient. Special mention to Alex the manager, Arianne, Jack at the fine dining restaurant , Sao at the noodle counter. What could be improved a bit more : the private island car trip driver could be more interactive and give general trip details of places visiting or worth visiting.

The buffet breakfast was one of the best I've had. In general, food, service and amenities were 5 star. And the peaceful and beautiful location was paradise.

A truly fantastic place to stay
The staff were brilliant, they couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. Rocky's Boutique Resort is an absolute Gem of a place, a true treasure. I honestly have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place. If you visit Koh Samoi and you are looking for luxury and relaxation? Then this is the place to go!

Rocky's Boutique far exceeded even the best expectations. The staff were absolutely incredible and so attentive - down to the smallest details of constantly replenishing ice cold water by the pool and giving out complimentary fresh fruit mid morning. The resort was remarkably well kept with beautiful flowers and greenery all around - the photos really don't do it justice at all. I would highly recommend staying at this resort if you would like a few days to completely relax and unwind. The only draw back is that it is quite a walk into Lamai - however the hotel does provide a free shuttle if you would like to explore that area. It's a wonderful place to stay and should I come back to Koh Samui in the future I will certainly be staying again.

Rocky's is a beautiful resort with lovely tropical gardens, stylish eateries, relaxing pools and a pleasant view over the water and a small clean beach (though not great for swimming). Unfortunately the accommodation was disappointing - I paid for a Junior Sea View Suite though it was really just a room in a noisy position on the lower part of the entry road, with a partial view of the water if you stood out on the tiny entry porch. The bed was really uncomfortable and squeaky, the air-conditioning dripped water over the bed (we report this and it was fixed same night). I reported my disappointment in private to the manager before we left but as I got no response at all I am putting my experience in the review. (My partner was offered a free massage voucher 5 minutes before we left for the airport).

Beautiful, calm and relaxing resort in Koh Samui
Lovely place. Great staff service. The restaurant menu is really good. They have a few tables on the rocks facing the ocean and under the moonlight making a great view for dinner. There's a great fire show on the beach as well (really entertaining!) The staff/managers were very friendly and went above and beyond helping us booking tours and changing flights. Both swimming pools are clean and big. Their bar is amazing for late drinks at night. Totally recommend the place if you looking for a beautiful, calm, relaxing place to stay in Koh Samui.
