"Excellent, modern hotel - the pool is great, included breakfast is pretty good and it's also a good, central location for getting to Larnaca or Ayia Napa / Protaras beaches. Only inconvenience is not the hotel's issue but one of ongoing roadworks that are taking forever to complete on Dhekelia Road which means you annoyingly lose some convenience since you have to take some backstreets and drive off-road to get to the hotel - hopefully that will be resolved soon."

"We stayed for 6 nights in late July. Unfortunately, after our first night we had to request a change of room, as our mountain-view room was located at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road - used by local boy racers late into the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. We moved to a sea-view room, which was quieter. However, we were still regularly disturbed by noise from furniture being moved on the balconies above, as well as housekeeping staff carrying out their duties. Despite signs requesting guests to keep noise to a minimum, there was frequent noise from both neighbouring rooms and corridors. Our third night, we found a large cockroach in our room. The room attendant removed it, the room was cleaned again, and we were given a late check-out as a gesture of goodwill. While we appreciated the apology, we were surprised that we were not offered a room change, which would have provided greater reassurance for the remainder of our stay. On a positive note, the staff handled our initial request to change rooms professionally and courteously, applying a discount to the additional cost of the sea-view room. We found the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast selection was varied and of good quality, with attentive service. Overall, despite positive aspects the repeated disturbances and the cockroach incident significantly affected our experience. We travel extensively and, regrettably, this is not a hotel we would choose to return to."

Weekly highlights include complimentary wine tasting, which provides an enjoyable introduction to the remarkable quality and diversity of Cypriot wines and evening entertainment including the lively and colorful Cyprus Night with its energetic traditional folk dancers. Over the years, we have stayed at many of the neighboring hotels. What keeps bringing us back to Sandy Beach Hotel, year after year, is its genuinely warm atmosphere and its remarkable staff. Many of them have been with the hotel for years, and their honesty, kindness, and unwavering dedication make them feel more like family than hotel employees. They greet every guest with a smile and consistently go above and beyond to make each stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
