We booked a four bed room and it was the largest we had in all our travels. Two full beds and two twin bunks over them. This left room for a couch and table - which made relaxing and sharing time with the family enjoyable. It had laundry in room - which was very useful. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel is along the river and between two metro stops - four minute walk to either. We could walk to some shrines and areas of attraction (20 minutes) and easily got around to everything we wanted to see in Kyoto using metro and bus. It is located in a quiet neighborhood which we loved. Highly recommend.

Great location. A lot of space inside the room, which was very nice. The breakfast is basic but it did the job.
The only downside was the crappy umbrellas provided.

Our overall 4 night stay in Kyoto at the Grand Monday was outstanding! From the Management team and to some of the staff (Vanesa, Muang, Thiri, etc.) and amenities were all amazing!
The hotel was very modern and very clean! Would definitely come back and stay there again.

"Breakfast is good if not great. The room I stayed is very clean. However, if you take a huge suitcase or more than two, I wouldn't recommend staying there because rooms are very small. I wish that they consider removing the massage chairs from some rooms .."
