I was really surprised when we got there that it was rated a 4-star resort. The standard rooms are very spacious but they need remodeled badly as there is a musty smell. The staff was wonderful and showed us 4 different room possibilities because of the smell. We switched to a less musty smelling room but it was still not great so they showed us more and ultimately upgraded us to a Villa. The villas were 4-star rooms and newer. The facility was clean it was just old and needs redone. I can’t emphasize enough how great the staff was. They were doing their best with the facilities they had and provided great customer service

I cancelled my booking shortly after I booked as my friend had booked alternative accommodation for us and I did not realise. This was within the ‘no charge agreement’. We were both on the same booking (2 rooms), but turns out I needed to cancel the rooms separately - even though I booked on the same booking. This is not clear. Therefore I lost $500AUD. I pleaded my case to the booking agency and they took it to the hotel - they refused to look into or consider my case. Very disappointing.

The hotel is located on the full moon party beach. The bed sheets wasn't changed although we ask them to change them. Irene in the reception was the best- she knows everything and is kind and helpful. The hotel itself is very noisy and reminds more of a hostel. The breakfast was good but they do not refill it towards the end so you need to go there early. The hotel gave us a free dinner for free at the night of the full moon party- it was great.

beautiful pool area, excellent beach, overall great experience, would stay there again. Slow return on room deposit (2weeks)? breakfast very good. Less than a kilometer away from Haard Rin Pier, free hotel shuttle one way to pier.

very nice location beach where the parties happen
We did not have the chance to be on dates of full/half moon parties but the location was ideal. The food setup they have at night is super nice and the staff are helpful. I had a villa for 2 days only draw back was the sound of bikes in the background. Regards to OWE this guy is awesome find him out and meet him if you went to this hotel.

Lovely hotel on right on the beach
Great hotel on the beach with the pool looking out onto the sea. Rooms basic but spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you are staying in this area it is a nice place to stay.

Great service and cosy resort
This resort is really amazing. Our room aircon was not cold so the staff says that they will send a mechanic to check on the aircon. After we are back from our late lunch we were told that the aircon is down and they need a day to check and they can only change our room from superior room to pool side room. The service is good. The only thing they have to improve on is the wifi connection. Some of our phones were not able to connect to their wifi. But afterall we had a good time there. Will definitely come back and stay again.

Great size room except beds were hard as rocks and the air conditioner wasn’t clean and made us sick, curtains stank like mothballs. Shower was huge except water never got hot enough for our liking. Staff were always lovely. We won’t be staying there again unless we are out of choices.

There were several disappointing things about this place and here they are: The hotel sold us a ticket to a party that didnt sell any alcohol. We got back to the hotel and complained, we were told they were going to give us the money back when they spoke to the party organisers. Then they kept finding excuses not to give us the money back which never happened in the end... They said the “mafia” controlled the party and they couldnt do anything about it... Very disappointed with the breakfast which was poor in variety and quality. The pool was full of chlorine and the room service was very average... There was lack of water on our room for a whole day which they only apologised for but did nothing else in return to make amends... The room smelled and we had to air it when we first got there. The shower head holder was broken and everytime you opened it further for more pressure the shower head would fall. The tap was also broken and hard to make it stop leaking water- annoying noise when sleeping. The hotel was right on the beach which was awesome although they had no taps or places to clean your sandy feet before walking back into your room, you guessed right sand everywhere in the room... Really expected a lot more from a place that call themselves a “resort”... they are very far from being a resort unfortunately. I wont be staying there again!!

Fun stay at home the beach. Pool was very nice. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection of Thai/Western food. Overall a good place to relax and enjoy the beach!

no place for a solo traveler
This must be one of the most overpriced hotel in the area. Food expensive, drinks expensive, food average. The room warn out and the smell of sewage in room and area near reception makes this not even near worth paying the price they charge. The staff seem fed up and doesn't bother at all, some exeptions are to be found. This is the result of a hotel that unfortunately has been used to people paying overprice for way too long and has no pride in what they do.

Beautifully set right on the beach and love the pool. The food is good. At night, they setup tables and lounge right on the beach.. love the setup. It feels great to just sit and enjoy dinner right on the beach. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

The hotels.com reservation said we are 3 people in the room. We called twice to verify that the room is for 3 people. But when we arrived to the hotel, they said that they dont have a room for 3 people and we need to add 1200 baht to add a bed. When we started arguing they said they actually dont even have a bed for us, but just a mattress they can put on the floor. To sum up, the hotel is okish, but the hotel couldnt provide the order and didnt tried to make up excuses and blame it on us.

Best Full Moon Party Accommodation
I did a lot of research on where to stay for the Full Moon Party. After many days of researching, I decided on Phangan Bayshore Resort. It truly was an excellent decision and defined the experience! I urge anyone looking to have a blast at the Full Moon Party on Haad Rin Beach in Koh Phangan, to stay here! The hotel is very weak kept. The rooms are very cozy and cabana-like. The pool is really excellent with a beautiful view of the beach. The night before the party, the hotel offers a real nice free dinner party! The atmosphere is so lively and fun. The resort is literally on the beach. You can buy the "buckets" here and walk 10 seconds onto the beach and enjoy the fun. It's definitely better to consider staying here than a hostel our somewhere farther to walk to. Because this hotel is at the very epicenter of the party, when you are tired, just walk less than 5 min to your room and rest. It isn't noisy at all. After the party Haad Rin Beach transforms into a serene and peaceful place.
