Amazing place just next to the beautiful beach. Garden view hut was simple but comfortable and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning, changing the towels. Breakfast was delicious, 10 different options to choose plus coffee,juice,water etc. Highly recommended for people who wants to relax.

Loved it! The staff were wonderful and it's in paradise! Best resort along Haad Yao and has lots of beautiful areas to relax right by the beach - and the pool! We'd stayed in one of the fancier Salas and then decided to stay longer, so moved to the only available space in one of the little rooms at the back of the resort and that was still absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely loved our stay here, in fact we wish we could stay longer. Such great value for what you get. Without a doubt the friendliest most attentive staff we have had during our entire time in Thailand. We aren’t usually “resort” people, but were very happy that we were able to get the best of both worlds by staying in the budget bungalow, and still getting to enjoy the facilities. 10/10 for the breakfast that’s included. Room was turned down every day, new towels, water bottles. Every member of the staff friendly, smiling. Can’t wait to come back one day! Thank you for having us.

Outdates, but worst the service and staff
Worst hotel on Haad Yao, bad service, trick you to book, then its x and y happens. Outdated - look at the picture. They should change the staff who handles the bookings since they use scam methods and want payment in cash afterwards to get what you thought you booked = scam from personell.

Bad service, outdated, 4th "hotel" on Haad Yao, this is more like a hostel with a very bad taste of bad service.

We had a really pleasant stay at the Long Bay Resort. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are very clean, modern and we got daily cleaning, water new towels whenever needed. The breakfast is nice too, as well as the pool area. It´s walkable to many other restaurants along the beach and just a very nice base to be at. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for making our holiday so very wonderful.

We had a lovely stay in March. The bungalow was beach front, every morning made myself tea in the room and sat on our deck watching the waves as the sun came up. Loved being right on the beach! It was clean, no bug issues in the room, warm shower, good AC. The bed was bit firm but was king size which was nice. The pool was lovely being beachfront as well. Buffet breakfast by the sea was lovely every morning. There are a number of great restaurants down the beach perfect for sunsets which are spectacular on this beach. The ocean tides were moderately high the first half of the day which was great for swimming. We enjoyed snorkeling off the beach and SUP boarding rentals on the beach. Also Kayak rentals too! It was quiet at night being on the north end of the beach. Easy to rent bikes closeby and go to other beaches. The hotel arranged a taxi back to the pier for us for a great price.

Excellent place!
Amazing place in not so crawded area in ko Phangan. Although nearby many restaurants, and amazing beach. Upgraded to beach front, and it defenitely worth the money.

It was a great place to stay, very quiet and the staff are incredible. The restaurant and massage were being renovated which we were only told on arrival. Wifi only available on public areas.

Relaxing resort, great views
Had a really great time here. It was low season so very few tourists. Pool was very nice, good happy hour cocktails, amazing place to watch the sunset, and great beach bars nearby.

The beach it was on was awesome, and the proximity to shops another restaurants was great. Restaurant was about the same as every where else on the beach, but a bit more expensive, and with worse service.

It's a bit secluded a little more north on the island. Nice staff, much more expensive for drinks and food than other places close by, but breakfast was included in the rate from hotels.com and was a fantastic start to the day. Beach was nice and the bungalows are super simple, clean, and working air-con.

Service at this hotel is great! Large bungalow, exellant swimming pool and clean beach. The only thing is that there are no nets on the windows, if I had to use the AC at all times, even when outside was pleasant (to those who that thing matters..).

A simple 3 star with great access to the beach
We checked in for some R&R after a busy week in Koh Samui following the wedding of a friend. The check in was fine although there was some confusion on whether I'd already paid for breakfast or not. Despite this the girl at the front desk was happy to give me breakfast and clear up with booking.com later. The staff were friendly, taking bags to our room etc and had given us a nice room near the pool as we were travelling with a baby. The room was clean but very simple and the fixtures and fittings were tired, especially the bathroom which could have done with a makeover. That said, most importantly the A/C was working!! The pool bar served simple and tasty food and good prices and the breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Paradise!
We found long bay resort to be clean tidy and well run. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels and drinking water. Downside was that the garden huts are very small ,lacking a fridge , and only one socket . Safes are not provided in the garden huts but passports or valuables can be placed in the hotel safe. Overall it’s location on the beach , it’s pool and gardens make this a place that we will return to.

Nothing like the pictures
The stay with this hotel started off terribly. We ended up waiting 2 hours in the sun for the hotel taxi to pick us up. One of the girls from the hotel was waiting with us and was visibly annoyed as well that she couldn’t get ahold of th driver. When we got to the rooms, they looked nothing like the pictures, the room was musky, outdated grungy. We decided to try out the spa services thinking the rooms were a one-off. When we got there the girls were sleeping. Three of us wanted pedicures, and it took them 20 mins to start. While two people were being worked on, a guy came over for a massage and was taken right away. Leaving one person to do all three of us. The guy with us didn’t have anything done but cream rubbed on his toes! They charged us all for the “services”, we didn’t get the discount the front desk had said we would and all of us left very unhappy. We went for lunch after that and the food was terrible. Plates came out missing key ingredients that were listed on the menu. Overall the experience was not very good. I would recommend spending more to go somewhere else. This place was very disappointing.

what a disaster
after arrival i thought this place was too far away from everything on the island and decided not to stay. They didnt give me a refund, which is just horrible service. I understand its a policy but never had a problem before doing so when changing my mind on arrival. Wouldnt go back even if the room was given to me for free.

It is my most nice place in Ko Pha Ngan
I had an excellent time when I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks in April 2017 - it was outstanding. The rooms (my room - ocean view Deluxe Cottage) are beautiful and the pool area stunning. Food was good, with a wide choice of interesting options. One of the best parts of this hotel are its staff too - I can't speak highly enough of them. Changing flights or any activities the staff helped me with everything I asked for and this with warmth and kindness. Amornwan Sae-khu and restaurant and cleaning staff in particular were incredible friendly. For all of these reasons, The Long Bay Resort is a very special place for me.

Great beach front spot
We had a basic bungalow that was probably the smallest in our entire stay in Thailand, but it was clean and the bedding was clean and nice, A/C worked great, WiFi was slow in the bungalow. Great beach front and pool. Drinks and food (particularly the buffet breakfast at 400B each) were very overpriced which was disappointing. Would stay again though for the right price. There's not much else in Haad Yao in terms of eats except whatever you can find along the beach, and a great italian spot off the main road called Locco's.

Great beach location.
Great location on lovely beach , we had real bad weather which spoilt our time here but can't thank management/reception staff enough for there help. Restaurant was a bit disappointing, food was ok but staff didn't have a clue.

Nice Resort on The Beach
Disappointing start to the stay, with a long wait at check in and confusion during our lunch once we arrived. After that the staff were helpful, especially the one receptionist who advised about some good trips. The room/Hut was 15steps off the beach which was the main reason we booked that place. Breakfast was good as well as the wifi at the resort. After a shakey start we really enjoyed it and would still recommend the resort although I'd probably try somewhere else on the island if I was to return.

Not what I expected from a resort.
Not really the experience I was looking for. Not relaxing at all I wish that somebody told me the bungalows were lit with awful florecent lighting. And the roof for the bungalow was so low you could only see out if sitting down. The people who worked here were quite kind but generally had to ask 2 or 3 times to get something accomplished. The beach BBQ is fantastic.
