"A lovely hotel in the middle of Kae Bae Beach on Koh Chang. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, and massage shops all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is great, with most (all?) rooms facing a gorgeous pool, or out towards the sea. My room was nice and large, with a great balcony that was great to sit on, or even lie down on a large sun bed. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. "We liked the hotel. We’ve been there also last year. I asked for a room at the second floor and got one at the third. I have a new knee and i’m not good in stairs now. They were willing to change the next day, but a room with a poor view. So i asked for one at the second floor with view. The girl behond the desk told us she has a room like that but the boss of the hotel refused. We could take the one with the poor view or stay in our room at the third floor. We didn’t understand the refusal....

"The spa was ok and staff were friendly. BUT under no circumstances take the tour operators they supply. It took us 7 hours in an appalling old smelly van to get to Pattaya. I missed my flight and the driver was both aggressive and very rude. I was told it would take maximum 5 hours. There were no traffic jams but the van wouldn't go above 70kms an hour. The driver spent at least 5 hours of the 7 on the phone. We all agreed he was super rude. Disgusting journey and ended up costing me over 700...
