"The Gull Cottage where we stayed was absolutely excellent! Ruth who owns and runs the cottage was super, welcoming us to the cottage and explaining the facilities. The cottage is very well equipped, super clean, very comfortable, and in a great location just moments from the beach. We hope to return as soon as possible!"

"This is a nice property in general (very well maintained gardens, nice pool) and staff was very welcoming. However, our room was a bit run down, furniture beat up and carpet with many stains. It was cold outside when we were there (September) and the only way to heat the room was a wood burning fireplace which was not my cup of tea. "

"Overall, very nice and spacious apartments as well as rooms, with everything you need. Location and premises is lovely as well and pool is clean. Many options to sit and relax, read a book, sit at the bar and enjoy the nature. However, breakfast was only mediocre for a resort (4 stars). Eggs were soiled in fat, and fruits not really fresh. "Really impressed with the spacious rooms, wonderful service, great facilities, excellent food and lovely indoor and outdoor pool and spa. Rooms are a little dated but still comfortable and elegant. Hotel definitely has improved since a previous stay and look forward to returning."

"Absolutely stunning! The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The grounds are lovely which make for a very relaxing stay. Lots of choice at breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Highly recommend."

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."
