We had a really pleasant stay at the Overmeer guesthouse. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around. We felt well taken care of and would happily stay here again.

The guest house rooms are spacious and well appointed. You have a view of the lagoon. Breakfast is provided and you may order a hot breakfast. The attendant was regularly available but not very knowledgeable about what tourists might like to do or see. For instance she recommended an excellent restaurant but did not mention that it was BYO. Knysna is promoted as the place to stay on the Garden route but I don’t know why. The property could do more to inform their guests about the benefits of staying in Knysna. Brochures are provided but communications is lacking.

Great place but WIFI is a problem

Very nice little place with decent choice of breakfast. The room was big and well decorated. It had everything one can forget to carry on a trip too. The only mishap was the internet which is only available in the lobby and rooms around it.,

Fantastisk udsigt

Lækker værelse, roligt kvarter og den helt perfekte udsigt. Vil dog mene man skal have en bil med hvis man har mindre børn med, da vejene er meget stejle og ikke børne venlige. Lækker lille hotel med en lille pool, hvor mindre børn kan stå på trapperne i den ene ende og plaske.

Hotel razoável

Quarto grande, vista bonita, café da manhã satisfatório. Ponto negativo, o banheiro bem pequeno em contraste com o tamanho do quarto. Tenho 1,67 e tinha que ficar na ponta dos pés para não me molhar ao usar a pia que era super alta. A manutenção do banheiro está bem defasada. Porta com lascas de madeira aparente,vaso com aquelas "manchas" que não veem uma boa limpeza a tempos... Staff do hotel (pq de guesthouse não tem nada) parecia apático, falando tudo decorado, foi estranho.

Ótimo para quem está de carro.

Quarto confortável com hidromassagem e uma bela vista para a lagoa. A varanda, embora seja praticamente compartilhada, é bem agradável. O hotel fica no alto de um morro, fácil acesso se estiver de carro ou moto, porém complicado se estiver a pé.

Der Ausblick war gut

Das Hotel war im Allgemeinen sauber und gepflegt. Jedoch wirkte für uns bereits der Empfangsbereich ausladend. Auch im Zimmer fühlten wir uns nicht wirklich wohl. Die Einrichtung wirkte schwer und alt. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett. Auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Ich denke, dass das Hotel für ältere Gäste geeigneter ist, als für uns.

Só dormimos uma noite no hotel, sendo assim não dá para avaliar muitas coisas. O quarto e banheiro estavam limpos.A pia do banheiro é muito alta e isso dificulta o uso. Bom café da manhã. O ponto negativo é que a internet não funciona no quarto, só no saguão
