The bottle of wine and fridge full of boat drinks were a bonus. We will be back for sure!"

"We throughly enjoyed our week at this lovely cottage. The living room has large glass windows that capture the lake view and moonrise beautifully. The cottage is located within walking distance to town and both shopping and dining options. Perhaps the best part of this rental is it’s manger, Thad. He was incredibly kind and helpful. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bass Lake. January is certainly off-season for lake living in the Midwest, but we had a great time. The home is well stocked and has plenty of room for a big group. There are a couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance which is nice. Groceries are readily available just minutes away. Top notch experience"

"We had a World Series Tournament in La Porte and booked the house for our team. 11 players and 3 coaches all stayed comfortably. We had a great time playing in the lake. Tons of floats and water toys to use. The yard is huge and worked great for games of volleyball and whiffle ball. Great memories were made. Highly recommend for other teams or groups with lots of kids."

"Lovely house with a beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed spending time on the lake and at the fire pit with our family. The house is set well back from the road, but it is a busy intersection and the traffic can be noisy at times."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs bedrooms are very large. The kitchen is modern. The basement has a huge media room with four luxury couches and a big-screen TV. The house is right on the lake and the shared dock is nearby. We really enjoyed taking walks at night along the peninsula. Be aware that the house is on a small rise and there is a climb up stairs to either the front or the back (which is less steep). Only issue was the cleanliness of the front porch. It had not been cleaned...
