"This was our favorite hotel on our trip! Clean, wonderful and accommodating staff, friendly hosts. Pool was clean but hot tub was out of commission. Conveniently located near the lake, a store across the street. Small town but superb hotel. They had two weddings and were full to the brim but worked hard to keep us in our same room the entire time. Will definitely stay again."

"There were 8 of us in our group on a weekend motorcycle ride from Hartford SD. We started up to Fargo and then across into MN. Stopped in Hancock for supper at Buddies. Excellent supper and people!!! Had to wait out a storm so pulling into the VRBO and being able to park all 6 bikes into the garage was fantastic! Property was gorgeous and we will be planning another trip! The only complaint we had is that we were not staying longer than one night!! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!! "

"This was a great weekend trip for me and my bf’s bday! It was a super hot weekend but AC kept up pretty well. Great communication! Lots of lakes near by like Elk Lake and lots to do in Glenwood which is close. "

"Property is well suited for a large group gathering. It was very comfortable, but had some tired furniture, ie ripped covers on the couches. However, having young children staying there, it made it also more relaxing that we weren't going to ruin anything. Granted, the weekend that we stayed was hot and humid...the home was quite hot and humid on the inside. Yes, there are 3 working air conditioners (two window units and one wall unit) in the house, but could not come close to keeping the main floor comfortable or two of the upstairs bedrooms comfortable. One bedroom upstairs had a window unit, the other two bedrooms did not. All enjoyed the pool and hot tub area! Overall, if the a/c situation could be improved...it would have made a significant improvement in how one would feel staying here. Host was very responsive and kind! Overall, it worked great for our needs!"
