Stay in a unique and original Old Town Hall with hardwood floors..

  • Stay in a unique and original Old Town Hall with hardwood floors and 16' tall ceilings. Each bedroom has a unique feel and the loft spaces are amazing.

    The building is a converted 3/4 basketball court that has had bedrooms and bathrooms added. This building is set up for large or small groups with plenty of space to spread out. Handicap accessible with a lift in the garage for main floor access.

    Includes Washer and dryer, wireless internet, modern kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in one of the bathrooms and a dining area large enough to feed everyone.

    Located in SW Douglas County, MN there are over 20 lakes within 15 minutes and the Kensington Runestone Park is about 10 minutes away.

    In the winter, Andes Tower Hills Ski Area is 15 minutes away and the DATA snowmobile trails (Douglas Area Trails Association) right on the edge of town.

Great space and price for large groups

We have stayed here in previous years and it has never disappointed us. Great space, beds are comfortable, it’s clean and has sitting space for a large group. Several different fun things to do while staying there.

Family Christmas Getaway

This location is great for large families with kids of all ages. There are plenty of games and activities for everyone with enough space for multiple families. We stayed over Christmas and it was a great location to celebrate the holiday with family.

This property was probably the most fun property we've stayed in. Our family had a blast with all of the games, puzzles and other accomodations. Everything was so well stocked and we had everything we needed and more! The beds were comfortable towels galore and the place was super clean. The Town hall has a lot of history and Julie has done a great job of preserving pieces of it! Julie was responsive and a pleasure to work with. We are already planning our next trip! Thanks so much!

Our stay at the Old Town Hall was wonderful! The crib, highchair and toys for my grandson were great. Lot's of space for our whole family and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Julie was quick to respond to all of our questions.

Girls weekend

We enjoyed the large sitting areas to sit and visit and long table to play games on. Every bed was comfortable and there was plenty of dishes. We walked to the bar Friday night for supper and everyone was very nice. Grocery store was walkable also had those Items we forgot!iteme duties things!

Happy Easter!

Our family had so much fun spending Easter weekend here. We had stayed at the Old Town Hall last year and the grandkids were begging to go back. We all enjoy riding around on scooters and playing games. The kitchen is a nice size for several "cooks". We enjoyed meals together and time together to talk and play. We had an easter egg and beer hunt and there were many places to hide the eggs. A great weekend in a nice place.

Girls gone wild

Olson Pheasant Hunting weekend!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space for all of us! The children love all the toys, games and area to run and chase! Having grown up in this area it is always good to come "home"! Sibling get-together

The best!! What a great job in preserving this amazing building and the vision to make it a warm and welcoming place for any age group to stay. This was a wonderful place for our group of Brothers & Sister's and spouses to relax, play games and tell stories. They have it all from Kitchen to play equipment. We will be coming back!!!!! Wonderful, unique and fun property.

We had a girls trip and stayed at this unique property. It was exactly as described. Very roomy, tons of beds, plenty of seating for everyone and room to spread out. They had lots of games to keep us all busy. The house was very well stocked and there wasn't anything we needed that the host hadn't already supplied. So much room!

This property was fantastic for our fishing group. We had 12 people, one was 9 years old, and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The kitchen was big enough for making our meals and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All the games were great to have. It was very nice being right in town so we could walk to the bar or the grocery store. We had 3 boats and there was plenty of parking area for them and we were able to plug them in. It was really nice to have a spacious garage as well. We have another group of guys that are looking to come here in the spring and I plan on booking this for us again next fall. Thanks!

We wanted to rent a space large enough to house a group of brothers, sisters, their spouses and kids. This space was perfectly amazing!! So much room to sleep with private bedrooms for the couples and loft beds for the kids. Separate livingroom areas and dining area Separate from the game table! Lots of games and activities already there to be used. Our daughters favorite was air hockey!! This is the perfect place to rent for large get togethers to hang out, especially in the winter because there is so much space for the kids to run around and so many things to keep them entertained!! Even an indoor basketball hoop! We loved that too! Heated floors in the bathrooms... AMAZING! We definitely plan on renting this place again and enjoying good quality time together!
