She accommodated our late arrival and she went out of her way to let us know before we left that a portion of Ring Road had been washed out overnight by a storm, which made it impossible to get to our next destination. Her kindness in letting us know gave us a chance to head back north around Ring Road to make sure that we made it back to Reykjavik in time for our flight. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit."
"This location is a bit off the beaten path. It is about 1 hour off of the Ring Road and you have to drive up and over a fjord to get there. That being said, the resort rooms are spectacular and the views getting there, and also from the rooms, is spectacular!! There is nothing else really in the town at all, so it is very secluded and that is the only downside (or, upside depending on if you are looking to really get away from pretty much everything else)!"
