"What a pleasant surprise to have our room ready for check in before 10AM! We were grateful for a few hours rest after flying overseas before heading out on the town. Reception was super friendly with suggestions on local coffee shops and the breakfast choices were delicious. Well worth the money."

"A very nice hotel, conveniently located to the High Street in Edinburgh. Has a very nice bar/restaurant (you kinda have to like bars, and I don't ... but the drinks were good and they did have some very nice dishes on the menu) and excellent breakfast (even includes custom-made omelets). Room was comfy and quiet. I thought it was bit tight. But, worked quite well after being out and about all day. I wish I'd known there was hotels from this chain in London (near St. Paul's) and in Dublin (near Dublin Castle). I'd have probably stayed at those as well."

"We booked this hotel as it was close to the city centre and provided (paid) parking. Our room was very clean but the decor within as well as throughout the hotel is very dated and could do with a freshen up. Breakfast can be added on for £12 per person. It was ok. "
