"Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great pet friendly pub with specific areas for people with dog's, towels and blankets were provided for the seating and the floor as well as plently of water dog treats and meals you can purchase. Room was super clean if only we had stopped the dog getting on the bed when he was wet! "

"Our stay was enjoyable and we were made very welcome by Angela. She greeted us on our arrival and helped with the bags as we were on the top floor. The room was cosy and very tastefully laid out, with a great shower, a small fridge and a sea view to enjoy as well. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed strong coffee with our full breakfast. We like the location because it is close to the sea and has enough parking spaces. We have stayed here before and no doubt we will be back again in the future."

"This was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and always had time for a chat. The room was spotless and newly refurbished. Comfortable bed. Plenty of tea and coffee etc which with toilet rolls was replenished daily, as we're the towels. The bed was made up daily and the room cleaned. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. Plenty of other items too such a yogurt, cereal, toast etc. Great setting and next to local amenities and 25 mins from the coast. "

"Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. "
