"チェックイン時に、まず所在が確認しづらかった。４階建て建物の一室であったが何階に所在しているのかチェックイン直前案内でも記載が無かったと思う。また、キーボックスが開いた状態で鍵が無く、オチとしては鍵が施錠されておらず中に鍵が放置されていてごみがそのまま玄関に置いてあったという始末。清掃業者の関係であると思うがあまりにも印象が悪い。電気設備のコンセントが外された状態で、冷蔵庫も空きっぱなし。業者を変えることをお勧めしたいという始末。電話対応は普通にして頂いたので不満もなにもないですが、この対応が続くようだと非常に問題ですよね。後のお客さんには普通の対応ができるように改善なり対処をしてください。"

It's about a 30-40 minute walk from Kagoshimachuo station, and the ferry to Yakushima is just opposite about 10 minutes away, the highspeed ferry is 5 minutes and the Sakurajima ferry less than 15 minutes. The staff are also super helpful with any enquiries. Unfortunately this place is rather tiny. There is no elevator, which makes hauling your bags up to the 3rd (mix dorm) or 4th (separate dorms) floors a workout. Even with a backpack the stairs are steep. It was everything I needed. I had a private room which was spacious and comfy including air con. The kitchen is small but well equipped to ensure you can cook your meals. Free laundry was amazing to have. Close to JR Kagoshima-Chuo (Note: there two ‘Kagoshima’ stations.
