"We booked a room at a lovely property on the historical register. We arrived at 5pm to an empty reception desk, and a not which said we had to go around the side of the hotel to find our room. No door…. Tried to call the number on reception, no reply. Eventually someone turned up and told us we were not staying in the inn, as advertised, but in a house about a block away from the hotel. Not what we ordered. The “delux room” was eorn out, basically a student digs quality room. You couldn’t open the blinds because next doors garden was right there. Really disappointed."

"Private and secluded. Carpeting wasn’t in good condition but otherwise everything was acceptable. The host and owner were warm and accommodating and very responsive, so the stay was enjoyable and relatively hassle free"
