"This B&B is an historic mansion, in immaculate condition. The building is gorgeous with lovely wood everywhere, period furnishings, and ornate Persian rugs in every room. Our room was comfortable, super clean, and quiet. There is even a billiard and darts room with complementary snacks and beer on tap! This is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. There is no one on duty to check you in. You let yourself into the mansion and your room with passcodes supplied on the day of your arrival. That's fine, although it is always nice to meet your hosts. We eventually did, when the owner came out to adjust the thermostat in our room. Very helpful! I have two suggestions. First, it would be useful for the owners to provide information about the history of the house. I always enjoy learning a little about the places I stay in. Second, the continental breakfast was good, but could be better. It would be nice to have a bowl of freshly cut fruit, some fresh bread rolls (including some whole-grain rolls or breads), and some plant-based milk for vegans (like us) and people with dairy allergies. As it was, the breakfast was fine, but not as good as many of the B&Bs I have stayed in. But overall, this place is great! You definitely will enjoy staying here. I recommend it highly."
