"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. "Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. "
