"Great hotel in an ideal location. A staff member met us and took us to our room to check us in. The unit had two bedrooms and a large living room area for eating and television. Beautiful room. Great location next to a scenic temple. We had the breakfast in our room. It was tasty and a reasonable price. I highly recommend it! "

"The home is gorgeous, spotless, and the location is fantastic. . Great walk to Kiyomizu Dera, Ryozen Kannon, Yasaka Shrine, Kenninji and more. There are some fantastic nearby restaurants and bars. The distance to train stations are great. The beds could be a bit softer, but I did not try the japanese futons. It would be nice to have better instructions for the shower and bath controls."

"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. The only real issue is that the property is not very accessible: the closest bust stop is about 15 min away and...
