Absolutely beautiful! All the charm but updated perfectly. Front desk check in woman (didn’t get her name unfortunately) was amazing! Super warm welcome, friendly, helpful and just all around lovely! Terrace is to die for! Beautiful surrounds and so peaceful, service was excellent here as well. Would definitely recommend!

Grand old house with a drawing room for people to meet and a nice bar and patio. A fairly short walk to market square, the university and Macdonald park and the lake front. Pricey if all you want is an overnight stay, but we were there for a special occasion and felt like treating ourselves. There was confusion over our bill which did not become apparent until after we had left. However the staff, over the telephone, was very helpful in resolving that problem. One peeve: we were on the ground floor and as a result our window did not open. It destroyed the amibance one should find in a Victorian house.

The hotel was beautiful upon approach and when walking in. The young lady at the front desk was lovely. Our room was clean and well equipped, but it was tiny (queen room)! And our view was of an apartment building and a parking lot (which included a porta potty, a scissor lift, and a dump truck). “Boxed” water was not offered as a free item, but was $4 each (in a $500 room), and we were notified approximately a week and a half before our arrival date that the lounge and patio would be unavailable the night of our stay due to a wedding. One would hope for some kind of compensation offer as a result (maybe free parking in the hotel lot located 2 blocks away)? In general, I had hoped for more TBH.

Beautifully renovated. Clean rooms with amazing smells throughout. Only downside is they do not serve a regular breakfast it’s more of a continental for a very high price, but you can walk to restaurants very close by and make delicious breakfast.

This newly renovated hotel is a beautiful gem in a residential neighbourhood near Lake Ontario. The renovation is gorgeous, a spectacular reimagining of a Victorian space. The room was small but very well appointed and tastefully decorated. Bed linens and mattress of very high quality. It's a great option if you are visiitng your kid at Queen's or in town to enjoy the downtown—the location is about halfway between the main part of the campus and the downtown strip. We loved it and will be back to visit the spa when it opens soon!

The staff at the Belvedere Hotel were amazing, in particular Melanie who was friendly and very helpful. She managed to upgrade my room from a Queen bed to a King bed on the second floor. The outdoor patio with live music and the delicious breakfast made my stay very enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to stay.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel. The beds are 10/10, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the food is fantastic and the patio is lovely and quiet. The thermal spa in the basement is amazing. It was the highlight of my stay and worth the extra $$ (very reasonably priced imo!) I will be back!
