Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity and bed linen included. Garden with Patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples, family and holidaymakers only.. Just a mile from the sandy beach at Brancaster, this attractive detached brick and flint holiday cottage has its own enclosed, south-facing patio and shingle garden. It stands alongside the village green, with Brancaster’s championship golf course and inn nearby. There are miles of beaches (ideal for dog walking), sand dunes and salt-marsh – a great attraction for naturalists. Sailing is also available and small boats take visitors to the National Nature Reserve on Scolt Head Island from nearby Brancaster Staithe. Leisure centre with swimming pool at Hunstanton. Shop 2½ miles.



The open fire is available November - March inclusive.

Beautiful location with so much promise

The house is in a beautiful location with the beach a short walk away. Unfortunately the house, while a good base, is not of a great standard. There is no dryer as in the description, there were cobwebs and dust that have been there a long time, on arriving there were lots of flies in the property and the fridge was off. The duvet covers don’t fit properly and there are no mattress protectors. All small things but when you are paying for a holiday home, things you would expect to be right and in order. The house is fine to stay in and we had a lovely week but it is a shame not more attention to detail is given to make this a beautiful property to stay in.

Lovely and quirky cottage in a great location, just next to village green. Close to good pub and only a short 30 minute walk to Brancaster beach. The cottage's kitchen was well equipped with everything you need on holiday. The only few downsides were issues with hot water. As we understand it's an old house, the sufficient supply of hot water wasn't there and with family of 5 it was kind of a issue. Also, as it gets hot down south it would be great if there were fans in each bedroom to keep everyone cool. The only point worth mentioning is pillows, unfortunately they weren't comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed the stay and would definitely be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The owner provided some milk, tea, coffee and sugar, tea towel and washing up essentials, and there were basics like salt and pepper in the cupboard.
