Wow! What a treat it was to stay here. It was perfect in every way. Everything you needed in the kitchen, comfy furniture and beds throughout. Staying in the National Park was such a treat! We saw everything recommended and could not be happier. The wood fireplace was perfect for this time of year. Kelsey was perfect with her communication as well. It really was a perfect stay!
Stayed during the winter season. Was easy to find and get in using the provided instructions. The cabin has all the modern amenities pictured and promised, but also maintains a very cozy and down-to-earth feel. Found everything we needed in the kitchen, and enjoyed the ambiance of having a fire in the wood stove although it isn’t necessary for keeping the place warm. Enjoyed our time and definitely would stay again.
There is NO place more convenient than this little cabin for a stay near King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It's quite literally in the park and while the cabin is over 100 years old, it's been wonderfully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while still retaining it's rustic charm. Wonderfully stocked kitchen, including dishwasher. Modern bathroom (with a heater IN the bathroom so you stay nice and toasty getting out of the shower in the winter! The main bedroom is beautiful with a gas fireplace and full size washer and dryer in the closet. All the beds were very comfortable as well. This is a great little spot with lots of charm!

This property was perfectly located for us to explore Kings Canyon National Park and Hume Lake for a few days. It's technically inside Kings Canyon Park, which saved us a lot of driving time each day. We wish we could have stayed there longer! The cabin has so much character and charm. We loved the fireplace in the master bedroom, multiple smart TVs and cozy kitchen. It's only a few minutes drive from the restaurant in Grant Grove Village and a very small market, but a far drive from any other restaurants or grocery stores, so make sure to stock up on food before you arrive.
Perfect cabin - so many personal touches. Well thought out & so homey!! Ideal location between Sequoia & King Canyon National Parks. We spent time at both.
So perfect. Yes, it was over our ideal budget its location, adorable-ness, and how well it was equipped made it all worth it. Kelsey was very responsive. Highly recommend!
Wonderful home base for Kings Canyon/Sequoia adventuring
This charming old cabin was a very comfortable home base for us during our stay in the park. It is quirky for sure, with floors that bow and angle to one side, but I think that only adds to its history and charm. The cabin has been updated with all the modern amenities you need, including dishwasher, laundry machines, and A/C. Would love to return.
Awesome location. In Kings Canyon NP right next to main visitor center. Perfect for couples or small group. Nice to have kitchen stocked and laundry and comfy beds. The parks were amazing and so worth it. Would choose again in a heartbeat.
Loved the location. So quiet and peaceful. Wish I could have stayed longer. We came in after dark and it was tricky to find. Apple Maps took both parties to the fire station and there wasn’t service up there. Google maps accurately identified the location but a description of how to get to the cabin would be helpful. The toilet wouldn’t fill after flushing and we’d have to manually hold the float down to get it to fill. Also a fair amount of spiders and webs around. Wish the kitchen had been better stocked but was ok for our short visit. Great location and so peaceful.
