"Overpriced, dirty, and rude staff avoid Paid a premium for three nights and got a run-down room with a side of contempt. We arrived during the French Quarter Festival a major annual event the hotel knew was happening to find every street to the property closed. Spent over an hour driving in circles until a police officer helped us through. No heads-up from the hotel, no guidance for guests using valet. Front desk shrugged and offered two drink vouchers. The room was worse: peeling wallpaper in multiple spots, long hairs in the bathroom, and dried snot on the shower curtain. I called to report it and was told they'd "already given me drink vouchers" and I "should be happy with what I got." I never cared about the drinks I wanted a clean room. When I asked to speak to a manager, the front desk blocked the escalation. Overcharged, wrong room, filthy bathroom, rude staff. There are far better places in the Quarter for the money. Stay anywhere else."

"The room was lovely in all respects except for sound insulation. You could hear people talking in the hallways and music from outside the hotel across the street. This noise level interfered with my sleep."

"The staff provided superb service and allowed us to check into our room at 8:30 am. This worked out perfectly after disembarking from our cruise. We were able begin our sightseeing! The room was quite and very comfortable. Parking for our car was convenient and free. I would most certainly stay again."
