2 Star hotel and it shows. Beds were not comfortable and room definitely showed wear. TV was tiny but whatever. Bathroom reminded me of a ghetto American motel. We were also on the 3rd floor, which means lots of steps to bring up luggage so that should be take. Into account. Also paid for breakfast through Hotels.com but after eating was fprced to pay 18 euro for my wife and I. Didn't feel like making a big deal about it so I just forked it over. Brwakfast, however, was perfectly good. Parking is in a lot less than a block down right in the thick of the city and is free from 1830 to 0830 I believe. Didnt eat in the award winning restaurant but the service was friendly and adequate. Didn't need much interaction but the interaction we had was pleasant. The key here is location. Right in the middle of Kilarney and its nightlife. Just be aware that you will hear noice from the street and defnity in the morning when the trash/recycling/delivery folk start to make their rounds. For the price (other than the breakfast) we were satisfied.
