EXCELLENT LOCATION! The Ocean Pearl is a classic OBX beach bungalow.
This vintage beach house in Kill Devil Hills was built in 1954 and is located across the street from the ocean and public beach access! It has been freshly updated and decorated with beachy decor throughout. Brand new leather sofa loveseat and chair January 2020!
From the beach themed artwork on the walls to the starfish knobs on the dresser and nightstand in master bedroom, this quaint ONE LEVEL , two bedroom and one bathroom home will welcome you the minute you step through the door. There are queen beds in both bedrooms.
if you have an extra child there is a twin size roll away bed available.
Sheets are provided but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AND PAPER PRODUCTS ETC.
All tile floors.

Third time staying at the ocean pearl and again it was awesome. Close to everything we wanted to do and quiet. Slept well dog friendly and CLEAN. Also close to free beach access.

This house is PERFECT! It was amazingly clean. Great fenced in yard for the dogs. Beach access right across the street. The little store next to us was so convenient. They have everything! The owner was very easy to communicate with! Can’t wait stay here again.

We love this bungalow! It’s perfect for my husband and me and our pup. Only one sandspur was found in the back yard. That is fabulous for a grassed yard at the beach. The fenced yard offered a safe place for our pup and privacy for us. No stairs was so convenient! House was clean and just as advertised. Loved the back sun porch where the nice washer and dryer was located. AND location to the beach access which has a handicap ramp and bathrooms was a blessing. An everything store and ice cream located on same street. Kitchen was well stocked to cook in home. Communication with host was fast and easy. Check in and out a breeze. We will return!! Thank you so much for letting us rent your home.

Ocean Pearl

We brought our 2 dogs and had a lovely time. The fenced in yard was PERFECT for letting our little guys out at night. The proximity to the beach and other destinations around the OBX was amazing. We highly recommend and hope to stay there again :-)

simply the best!

All aspects of our stay were exemplary. We like to do 4day jaunts (3 or 4 times a year in the off season) and have chosen small, pet friendly cottages close to the beach. Ocean Pearl checked every box and we definitely want to come back in October! Clean, bright and all the conveniences made our stay carefree. The fenced in yard is the best yet and great to just open the back door and let your baby rip!

Ocean Pearl

We love the Ocean Pearl. Perfect house, location and dog friendly. The hosts are the best. This is our favorite location! We highly recommend this property when visiting Kill Devil Hills. I can't say enough about it.

Fantastic Location!

The Ocean Pearl was absolutely perfect. Not only was it literally across the street from the beach, it was across the street to beach access that has a lifeguard station and restrooms. The place was very clean. The couch was very comfortable. You could tell the refrigerator had just been cleaned because it was spotless and smelled good. My 10 year old dog appreciated the fact that no steps were required to get inside. The fenced in backyard was also nice for the dogs. I walked to the small store next store each morning for coffee. Yes, the place does have a good coffee maker, but it was just easier for me. We also walked the dogs to Dairy Queen which is very close. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and the Ocean Pearl is one of the best places I have stayed.

Nice place to stay with our dogs

This is a nice little place to stay especially if you have your fur-babies along for the trip. The enclosed back porch was fantastic along with the fenced in yard. Property owners were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

So close to the beach

My family and I love the place! Stop n shop is right there, and the beach couldn’t be closer. We have a younger child so the guarded beach is welcome. We will be back!

Great vacation spot!

We had a great time! The vacation house is only a walk away from the beach. The fenced in yard with the outdoor shower made it a very easy experience for our dog.

Another fabulous 2 months at Ocean Pearl

This is our second year living in Kill Devil Hills for January & February. It breaks my heart to leave! Very comfortable home, clean, everything you need. Fenced in yard is great for the pups, nice, quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping and restaurants. Food Lion & Publix close by. I would live here year round if I could. Mindy, the owner is a peach. Coming back next year - already booked.

Wonderful two weeks at the Pearl. Our go to spot for time at the Outer Banks. Great weather and pleasant weather. George and Buster just love going to the beach with us!!

Another satisfying stay.

This was my 2nd year stayin at this property and i was just as pleased with everything as i was last year. The location couldnt be more perfect and the house has everything we needed (my favorite part is the outside shower). I plan on staying here again.

Another great stay

We enjoyed another great week at the Ocean Pearl this year. The access to a fully fenced yard for my pups makes this a true gem! The house is the perfect size for us (2 adults and 2 pups). Add in the close Proximity to the beach with ramp access and it’s the perfect choice for us. We will see you again next summer.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

This house has the most amazing beach access right across the street from the handicap beach ramp! Not too many rental houses in OBX have fenced in yards, and that was a huge feature, our dogs loved it! Very clean house, would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a dog friendly spot!

Lovely little pink house

Second stay at the Ocean Pearl it was just as great as the 1st time. Sitting under the shade of the beautiful Mimosa tree after a day of shopping, or at the beach was a nice wind down. Mindy and Donny are wonderful hosts. Hopefully we can make it back to Kill Devils Hills next year and stay at the Ocean Pearl again.

We really like the location to the beach and to other things nearby. We just realized on this second visit that there was a great deli and food at the Exon station right beside us!! It was a windy week but my husband managed to catch a few fish from the surf and Jeanette's pier. Overall, a great week.

Great place near beach

This house was perfect for my husband, myself and 2 boys. The owners thought of everything .....beach chairs, boogie boards, grill, outside shower, movies, etc. 5min walk to the beach. We went to the beach every day,! Honestly, nothing I can complain about. One of the best VRBO properties!

Fantastic stay!

We stayed for 2 months with our pups to escape the winter snow of New England. Location is excellent: beach, groceries, restaurants, just about everything is close by. Home is clean, comfortable, everything you could ask for. Beautiful, secure fenced-in backyard. Would give Ocean Pearl 10 Stars if we could! Absolutely one of the loveliest, most comfortable VRBO stays we’ve experienced.
