This upscale condo fronts the Beach Road (guests will cross the 2 lane beach road to access the beach). Located on the first floor, you are in the heart of "downtown" Kill Devil Hills and close to excellent restaurants, shops and area attractions. There are 3 public beach accesses close by. TVs, DVD player, WiFi, and a large covered patio.

Need a change of pace from the surf and sand during your stay? No problem... guests have access to the Outer Banks YMCA, located in Nags Head. This 28,000 sq ft. facility offers activities for youth, teens and adults of all ages - perfect fun for the entire family! Enjoy the outdoor pool and water park, a 25-meter indoor pool and sauna, fitness center with state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment, group exercise including spinning, interactive zone with video game-based equipment, massage therapy and hot tub, racquetball courts, skate park and full court gymnasium available for basketball.

Can’t stay an entire week? Under The Boardwalk is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Avoid the weekend traffic by choosing any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

August 2018 Stay

My husband and I had a great trip with friends to the OBX while staying at Under the Boardwalk. We could not have asked for a more comfortable place to stay within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. We were only a few minutes drive away from the grocery store, gym, shops, and other beach activities. The condo was supplied with everything we needed to make meals during our stay. We also enjoyed the DVD and board game collection! It was a perfect size for three couples to stay, each having our own bathroom. We took advantage of the complimentary YMCA membership, which was a great perk during our stay. We would highly recommend this location to others looking for a great place to stay in Kill Devil Hills!

Thank you for helping us have a great week at the beach! The condo was furnished very well and it was very clean. Loved the trunks of games and beach supplies. Also loved being on the ground level. We enjoyed The Lost Colony, hanggliding at Jockeys Ridge, flying kites at the Wrights Brothers Memorial, Festival Park and Elizabeth II at Manteo, and more! We'll be back!

Everything in our condo was in pristine condition. Our family loved the games on hand and the beach supplies. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes,pots,pans and everything's you would have at your own home. We loved the beach access directly across the street and a bike rental right next door. The location is great, right across the street from beach, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely consider staying at this condo again.
