Soundside Sunset Inn - Sound front condo with pool.

  • Enjoy beautiful sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay 2 minutes from the beach. This is a 1rst floor condo at Oyster Pointe Condominiums in Kill Devil Hills. 2 bed 2 bath with outdoor pool open (5/20/26-10/1/26), tennis courts, beautiful sound front views, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. Many restaurants, public beach accesses, Avalon Pier, and grocery stores within 1 mile of the condo. There are nice bike trails by the condo that take you down the sound shore or to the Wright Brothers Monument.

    This condo is on the 1rst floor but there are 6 stairs to climb. It is not wheelchair accessible.

    What’s provided:
    - 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom
    - 1 roll of paper towels
    - bath towels and hand cloths
    - sheets for beds
    - dishwashing pods
    - 2 beach chairs and a umbrella
    - 4 beach towels
    - ground coffee, filters, sugar, creamer

    Optional E-Bike and Beach Cruiser Rentals:

Amazing property, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Everything looked brand new and the overall condo location was very convenient. View from unit was gorgeous and the pool area on property was clean, well supplied with chairs and umbrellas. Host supplied many basic essentials like dish soap, laundry pods and beach chairs. Traveled with a 15 year old and 18 year old and husband all of whom had space to spread out a bit and enjoy the unit. Highly recommend.

Given the age of the condo complex, this VRBO unit was more than comfortable. We took it because of the view from the small deck. The beds were wonderful and the furnishings were fresh and attractive. Kitchen had all one might need for a longer stay (we were there just two nights). The deck could be refreshed and the cushions in the chairs certainly need to replaced. Did not meet the owner but communications were prompt and informative.

Wonderful view over the sound

Overall we had a pleasant time and we’ve enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, the view over the Sound was exceptional and Eddie, the host, is friendly and helpful. For those that are light sleepers you need to be aware that from the main bedroom you can hear the neighbor from upstairs walking. I had to go and sleep in the 2nd bedroom to be able to rest.
