Snorkel A Shipwreck...Two Ships Are On The Bottom Just Off The Beach!!

Two Shipwrecks are Just Offshore. Great snorkeling. Walk to the beach in 3 minutes.

3 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH!! Our house is named “PADI-SHACK” after the Professional Association of Diving Instructors...the owners are avid scuba divers and we love to share our experiences with our guests. Our guests often like to go out to the shipwreck with us and we enjoy being "tour guides". And, we have MANY friends that we have acquired over the years who are here for large parts of the summer. You'll be welcomed into the "family"....and YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Padi-Shack has three bedrooms, two baths, and a screened in porch just off the kitchen. There are ocean views from the upper decks, and there is a lovely ground level deck with patio furniture and an OBX style swing. The owners don’t live far away and we will do anything we can to make this your best vacation EVER!

PLEASE NOTE...we do not supply linens or paper products. A full week (Saturday to Saturday) is required during prime time rental periods. Off season check-ins and visits are
very flexible, requiring a minimum of only 2 nights!

WE REQUIRE KNOWING THE AGES OF ALL PARTIES THAT WILL BE VISITING! WE HAVE NEIGHBORS THAT LOOK AFTER OUR HOME. IF YOU ARE OF HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR COLLEGE AGE, YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE ACCOMPANYING YOU THAT ARE ABOVE THE AGE OF 30 YEARS OLD! NO EXCEPTIONS.

Great location, fun and comfortable

We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, proximity to bagels & donuts, the spiral staircase, the master bed balcony and the popcorn maker. A great house and great value.

Great place to stay at a great price

Short family trip

We had a quick trip to the Outer Banks and this house was perfect. The kids had room to play inside and out. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. Checkin was easy and any questions we had were answered quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach house

Loved the blue beach house :) My family stayed here over spring break. Walking distance to the beach and a quiet street location. Loved the beach blue decor, games and puzzles to play with the family. Great value for the Outerbanks and a family vacation :)

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for us. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It’s an older house, but felt homey and lived in and the location was great for all the sightseeing and especially for enjoying the beach - the access was so close!! We would definitely recommend it and plan to return with friends!

Perfect location and cozy stay

Enjoyed our quick girls trip down to OBX! It’s such a great centralized location and just a short walk to the beach. Definitely would book for another stay and Randy was accommodating and a quick responder to any questions we had! Fully equipt kitchen was perfect for dinners and baking at the house and spiral staircase was a fun novelty for the girls! Fun stay overall!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed at this location for a week for our family vacation, and it was a wonderful week! Great location that’s a short walk to the beach and in KDH so accessible to Manteo and much of the OBX. It’s a cute home with a good layout - nice outdoor area for grilling out. The owners were very nice and responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Our family weekend getaway meeting up in KDH was great. Vrbo rental place is in a good location - a few blocks to the water and a few blocks to the shopping area. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

Easy weekend

This rental is close to everything but it felt quiet and relaxing. Check in was the easiest I ever had and we weren't saddled with a million responsibilities for the property. We had a great weekend.

The Grandma Trip

Randy was communicative from the very beginning; providing info about the house and surrounding areas. The house is a short walk to the beach and central to a lot of the shops and restaurants we visited. Us 4 grandmas were very pleased with our stay and would definitely consider renting again.
