Important Info:
• Insurance: $17/day (billed separately from VRBO)
• Driver must be 25 years or older
• This camper may not be driven on dirt roads, including the back side of Hana. This camper van is Not Allowed to travel up to Haleakala , summit or visitors center. Unfortunately the volcano steep elevation and drive are extremely strenuous on Transmissions and Brakes -

You are welcome and encouraged to visit Hana! Just be sure to reserve a site at one of the 3 available campgrounds if planning to camp overnight in that area.

The camper you are currently looking at is our 2nd ever full custom build.
It has been on the road to Hana at least 1000 times.
There are bumps and bruises , dents and quirks.
This is not a brand new luxury Camper
We offer this camper with its quirks and countless amenities for less then our Deluxe Camper because of the little things that are no longer perfect..

The Camper itself is mechanically in great shape and safe to drive . with new tires and brakes. it will not leave you by the side of the road.
-One of the recent customer comments stated they wish they knew ahead of time that the sliding passenger door only opened from the inside. or that there is a switch to charge the house battery .

Everything regarding the vans functions and features are covered in person at check in.

As you can see our camper vans are priced far below what the high price of visiting Maui Reflects. We keep our rates comparatively low considering you are renting a vehicle and sleeping accommodations bundled together for less than $150 a day . the average price of a hotel is close to $800 night and a BNB style condo goes for $175-$1000 a night .
please adjust your expectations accordingly

The idea is to adventure and camp.. Camping does not mean 5 star hotel accommodations.


For nearly a decade I have hosted close to 1000 guests .
The people who enjoy their visit to Maui while utilizing my camper vans are Nature enthusiasts, people with camping experience and people who love adventure and go with the flow ,
I love hosting guests who understand they are not renting a 4 wheel drive Jeep and staying in a luxury hotel.
When Camping you can and should expect inclement weather , Bugs and other wild life. Maui has 7 different micro climates all of which bring separate challenges from range to heat and everything in between.
Camp grounds are best secured 1 month in advance for the most desirable locations. we also have 2 spots on the south shore of the island we can recommend for free over night stays near the ocean. ( not a camp ground)

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please be sure to schedule your check out 24-36 hrs in advance by texting Rob at 808-283-1995
Please be sure to return your camper van gas tank back on Full this Camper can be tricky and may take a few time to fill even when the nozzle shuts off
Please be sure to remove all sand dirt and mud and debris from interior of van. Excessive sand, dirt , mud etc will result in additional cleaning fees
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

To camp in Hana you must stay in Camp ground. There are 2 public and 2 private campgrounds to choose from Best to book reservations 4-8 weeks ahead
This Van is Not allowed to travel up to crater road that leads to Haleakala national park at the summit So No exceptions
Cannot take Camper in Dirt roads You can access Hana via the north shore and back You can travel all the way to a Kipahulu.

The only way to stay in Maui!!!

Every single second from the booking to being dropped back off at the airport to head home was AMAZING!!! The adventure van was PERFECT, it had everything we needed and then some. Rob picked us up and dropped us off. We slept on a different beach every night with the side door open. Being able to travel adventure in the cutest little van was amazing. Can't wait to come back and do it again. Thank you so much.
