It was an amazing, comfortable property. The beach, stores and most restaurants were within walking distance. The property was well kept and staff were very helpful. I woud definitely stay there again if I go back to Maui!

The location was phenomenal, took us about 3 minutes to walk to the beach which was exactly what we wanted. The layout of the condo also worked well for us with two bathrooms and a separate bedroom since we were traveling with our baby. We would absolutely stay again!

Great spot in Kihei

This spot was a great location in Kihei! Just a few minutes walk from the beach, a large kitchen area, and personal laundry machines in the unit were great features. Food options nearby walking distance were great, and other spots in Kihei were just down the road! The assigned parking spot is very tight, so parking could be an issue if you don't have a compact car.

Perfect home away from home. Close to shopping, restaurants, snorkeling coves, golf courses and endless sunsets. Wonderful Escape

My husband and I had a wonderful holiday here. The location is perfect with beautiful grounds and an easy walk to beaches and restaurants. It’s our third time at the Maui Banyan and this is the nicest unit we’ve had — fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed and a balcony big enough for breakfasts. Would return in a heartbeat! The Aston at Maui Banyan

We were very pleased with this property. This was our 29th trip to the islands and this property was one of the best ones we rented on Maui. Very clean, well stocked of items we liked. The lighting in the condo was great. This may not mean a lot to many, but we really dislike properties that have poor lighting. Check in and out was extremely simple. We have nothing negative to say about this condo.

Great condo at the beach

The condo was exactly as expected. Plenty of dishes for making meals, a few basic spices (all we needed). The sofa bed was so comfortable we adults would have slept on it instead of our kids, if needed. We chose this unit for location, bathroom with bathtub to bathe our kida, kitchen, and adequate beds for two adults and two young kids. The CB staff were responsive to questions although we had no issues. The complex is very well maintained and we made of the pool a lot. Beach right acroas the street and easy wal I ing to restaurants and stores. Would stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location excellent for beach-lovers. Descriptions accurate. Cooked at home a lot and was surprised at variety of utensils, both for grilling and home use. Also, attention to detail was above and beyond - down to colored washcloths for makeup removal! Impressive. Yes, we would recommend with one proviso - the lanai has both air-conditioners vented there against the glass (plexiglass?) so the hot air swirls and never leaves. You cannot enjoy being outside unless you turn the ACs off and wait a few minutes for the heat to dissipate. But a) you don’t spend a lot of time in the room and b) the owner probably doesn’t have a choice of location. Just something to be aware of.

Great condo, but sadly we were disappointed with communication

We wanted to love this condo so much! It's light and airy, great location, and has the comfiest bed I've ever slept in on a vacation. The amenities and washer dryer were huge perks! The check-in process was easy, though we struggled to reach the condo office on our day of arrival to make sure we could go in 30 minutes early. Nobody ever answered the phone so we just waited. Not a huge deal. Our first couple of days we started to notice some weird bugs in the kitchen trying to get into our food. We're from the coast of WA so we don't have much other than ants here. After looking into it we determined they were cockroaches. I sent a message to the host through the VRBO app to see what could be done, maybe a quick treatment to keep them away until we checked out, but didn't hear back. When I followed up a second time I finally got a response that someone from the office would contact me. I kept my phone on me all day, but never received a call. At that point, we decided to just tough out our last two days and wash all of our belongings before packing up. Luckily I don't think we brought any home with us. Maybe it's expected to see these types of bugs in HI, but this was my 8th trip to Maui and my first time with that experience. Overall, it was just the lack of communication that bothered me. It didn't really seem like anyone cared. Not the communication I expected for the price we paid.

It was also very centrally located, but not right in the thick of Kihei, which was nice. We look forward to returning!

We had a great time in Kihei since we were right across from the beach and shops and restaurants were walking distance. So great to have two bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Clean, great location, very comfortable bed. A smaller table that would have left room for a recliner or chair would be a nice addition but we spent very little time inside so it didn't matter much. Would stay here again.
