Barb, I'm SO glad you enjoyed your anniversary getaway at our condo! I got a message from my cleaner yesterday to thank you for leaving the condo in such pristine condition, she said guests like you are rare. We both hope you and Ira return to visit soon!! Mahalo, Tricia

Rachel I don't disagree with you. The geckos are pretty to look at but can be a bit loud sometimes. In Hawaii it's considered good luck to see them :)

It’s unfortunate a recent guest broke the blinds on the slider, when my cleaner notified me i immediately ordered a new set. It takes a few weeks to be made and shipped to Hawaii. This was something beyond my control and I was addressing it, so all I could do was apologize to Dion when she contacted me. She didn’t ask me to have the comforter cleaned, or I would have had my cleaner resolve that immediately. Instead she apparently paid $15 to have it cleaned. Again, if given the opportunity, I would have reimbursed her. Instead she left me a message that she loved the condo but thought I should know about this issue, and she said she was only reporting this for my personal information. I guess she wasn’t being truthful. I had gone out of my way for Dion to reorganize my cleaners schedule to accommodate an early check in, no charge to her. Now I regret showing her such Aloha

so sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay at Maui Vista. If there was an problem with ac/fans not operating properly I would expect you to notify me so I can have it corrected, instead of reading it as a negative review...yes you are correct there are many other more expensive properties to stay at in the area. I just reread our correspondence to see if you had contacted me about your complaints, but instead discovered you had asked not once but twice to extend your stay! my answer was the same both times you inquired, that we had guests arriving directly after you,so sadly, no. Quite ironic!

I don’t believe this is accurate. First of all this particular guest was only staying 1 day yet she wanted an early check in. I explained it’s not possible since the previous guest was checking out 4 hours before 3pm and my cleaner needs the time to do her job. So instead of accepting that, she stopped by while my cleaner was working and asked to put some food in the refrigerator. Sure, no problem. But the problem was she and her kids proceeded to camp out I the condo while my cleaner was trying to work. Not OK. And then guest is angry apparently so leaves me a bad review. No aloha!
