Basic, small but cosy cottage. I wouldn't use the term 'luxury' as was described on the website/listing. We go away at the same time every year and have stayed in some really luxurious properties and some more basic, this was more on the basic side. It wasn't terrible, but I booked it based on the images provided, but it wasn't quite as high standard in person. I booked this break as a surprise for my partners 30th birthday and when we arrived I was a little disappointed after seeing such high standard on the images advertising. There was slight damage throughout the property including broken floor tiles, damp on some of the walls in the kitchen and no lights in the hot tub. The outside furnishings were a wooden table and chairs not the rattan furniture in the pictures. If travelling with babies/toddlers I advise to take your own travel cot (we did) as the one provided was dirty and I wouldn't use it. I also used our own highchair as I appreciate that highchairs are used with food but this was also unclean upon arrival. The garden is mostly private, but has low gates through to the other properties. This was strange when new neighbours arrived and looked into the garden when we were having a bbq! It made us uncomfortable as they could see when we used the hottub too.The bbq was great and the swim pond was just lovely. We enjoyed our stay and used the house as a base for lots of fun adventures to the local area, but would not be in a rush to return to this property.
