We have stayed at the Heron House several times over the years. Its nice and quiet but close to Duval. Clean and comfortable rooms, pool and the staff is great.

Cleaner and better condition than others in the area in which I have stayed. Bath sink faucets were temperamental and coffee was weak. Concerned the bed spread/comforter was not clean.

Easy walking distance tqo Duval St. Good breakfast and nice pool. Only drawback was parking. You drop your bags off, then have to find a place to park, which can be several blocks away.
