"Our oceanview room was clean and the staff quickly responded when we requested anything. The property had various amenities for recreation and we loved the convenience of walking to restaurants and bars next door and not driving. Chesapeake had their own bar and lunch grill that closed at 6pm. Breakfast was included with our rate and included omelets and various cooked items. I will definitely return. "

"This place is a dump. The building is falling apart, there are cracks in the walls and ceiling’s, that are painted over but still stained. The main door didn’t seal so I could see through to the outside from the side and below. Bathroom was disgusting. And the maid cart carry’s around roach spray, which is not a good sign. Do not stay here unless you absolutely must. I didn’t have another option as my trip was so last minute, but if I did I would have left. The only area that has been modernized and renovated (this is how they describe the hotel) is the pool area. The pool was the only thing that wasn’t garbage. "

"Had a nice big pool. Not many lounge chairs though. Condo was dated. Sofa bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable- needs replacing. Main bed was ok for one person. Condo was clean and bright with a water view. Lot of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. "

"Our room was very pretty and had a beautiful view of the ocean. I will say that you can hear a lot of noise through the walls whether it’s doors closing or people walking around. We were also pretty shocked that there was a $35 mandatory valet parking fee for a resort that already is quite pricey. We weren’t expecting the $35 fee a day for parking also their website has different amenities and experiences you can book. I booked a clear kayak only to find out they no longer have clear kayak rentals there. The staff was very friendly and helped me get a refund. I also booked a chimney experience. However, we were walking around the resort, trying to find it only to realize it hadn’t been set up yet at the time that was requested. Once again the staff was very friendly and helped accommodate us to get the experience started. Their beach is beautiful however you’re not allowed to swim or kayak or paddle board outside of their roped off area which was pretty small overall this was a good hotel. I just think that there is room for improvement to make it feel like a luxury resort, especially for the luxury price. "

"I would not recommend this property as most staff seem miserable, the property is dated, the beach is mostly inaccessible due to sea grass and bushes and when I complained at 8.30am about the very loud peteol smelling leaf blower below our seafront room I was told it was business hours and so. Nothing they would do about it!!!!!"
