The Kerama Islands, a stunning archipelago located southwest of Okinawa, offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure, particularly for travellers seeking hotels with spa facilities. Begin your journey at Zamami Island, where the pristine beaches are perfect for sunbathing or snorkelling among the vibrant coral reefs filled with marine life, making it a family-friendly spot for both relaxation and exploration. For a touch of culture, visit the local village, where you can experience traditional Okinawan hospitality and perhaps enjoy a cooking class, adding a flavourful twist to your stay. If you’re looking to unwind, head to Aka Island, where several resorts feature luxurious spa services that incorporate local ingredients, providing a serene environment to rejuvenate after a day of activities. Exploring the azure waters around the islands by kayak offers both tranquillity and adventure, while the breathtaking sunsets can be enjoyed from the comfort of your hotel balcony – ideal for a romantic evening or a quiet family moment. Southern Beach Hotel & Resort OKINAWA

Southern Beach Hotel & Resort OKINAWA

8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, however it’s a bit far from anything and the beach is more like an enclosed river; you can only access a small roped off area. It is however beautiful. They were a little stingy in the towels in the rooms and we continuously needed more which seemed to frustrate them."

Mercure Okinawa Naha

Mercure Okinawa Naha

8/10 Good
"Location is really good, monorail station is very close by, many convenience stores around, Donki is also nearby. Laundry machines are located near the restaurant, it was an awkward location. Hotel's parking is not suitable for big car but can use Times's parking nearby."
