The front of house staff were friendly and helpful and were the main positive about the hotel. We ate at the hotel and the staff were helpful in reserving us a table, but when we got to the bar, it was poorly stocked with no beer on tap and no child friendly drinks, the fridges were pretty bare and running out quickly. It took food a very long time to come out (nearly two hours after we arrived so we had some very cranky children) but thankfully it was good when it eventually turned up. The food choice at breakfast was also good. However, the toilets in the lobby were dirty and in poor condition.
The rooms were ok but not clean, the bedside tables were thick with dust and the bedding was dirty. They were also very warm (the air con for the room was only in the lounge area so this was freezing while the bed and bathroom were both boiling), and were not soundproof, so trying to get our child to sleep was made more difficult by some very loud jazz music coming from outside.
