Dark basement suite far from a beach, poor value

Dark basement with expertly staged photos. Outdoor furniture featured in the photos the was not there upon arrival. No nearby lake access. The owner told us we were not permitted to put soiled toilet paper in the toilets. And that we needed to use the bins. We protested and they retracted. The kitchen is not set up well for use. One kitchen knife, no ice trays, cooking oil, strainers, amongst other things. Bare minimum of all consumables. Were short on towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods.

Absolutely Beautiful Area Stunning view

We ended up checking in later in the evening due to roads being closed. I let the host know prior that we’d be arriving VERY late. She was sooo absolutely kind, she made sure all the lights were on so we could see when we came in and left us water and fruit for our arrival. The property was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was definitely enough space for my whole family 6 of us and my 6month old grandson. I will definitely be staying at this location again. I can’t wait to come back. Absolutely great way to end our summer.
